I suggested this to Tig a while back, any kind of radiology/u/s tech, x-ray tech...I worked in health care for many years, and we had Occupational therapists with 4 year degrees going back to school for the 2 year tech certification. They made great money, and you can get a job anywhere. Their in great need what with all the new diagnostic technologies coming out. If he still wants the military benefits, theyn may pay for his education and hire him in a military medical facility. Just another option. He probably doesn't want to go to tech school for 2 years, so that's why going into the military might work for him...he'd be working in the med facility as a low mad on the totem pole, but it'sa career, and then when he's done with school, he moves up into his profession. And I know he'll look so handsome in his white lab coat, and then his military uniform when necessary.

God, to be young again with the whole world of options open to you! These kids don't realize they hold their future in their hands right now while their young!!
Judy, you mentioned that you do eliptical...I just got home from the gym and my trainer has taken me off the treadmill due to ankle pains, even when taking 2 Aleve. I broke both ankles years ago, and I've never gotten back to 100%. Add to this the excess 40 lbs I'm carrying. He said the eliptical is low impact, burns mad calories, and is cardio/heart/lung beneficial. Any opinions?
I love the elliptical. I wish I had bought one sooner. Yes, you can really burn some calories. I even try to get on one while I'm on the ship. In a half hour, I usually burn about 350 calories, and that's with me taking it slowly. It works your whole body, and has helped me lose weight. It's great since it is low impact. GO FOR IT!!!!
P.S. Nan, have I told you lately that I miss you?
