I know I haven't been around for long, but it looks to me like we need to make a no more cancellations rule on this thread. I hate to see folks drop off the list.

I hear ya Sheila...I think your crew is pretty much set now til Cruise time~

Yes Anjelica...TONS and TONS of P&PD coming your way for Chas!

Thanx for the cruise details Brenda...
Kaz, are any of your Riviera cruise photos online that I could see???

HERE is a thought.

Brenda and Aisling, you could go to a nice Palo dinner together!!! you should coordinate and book it. Maybe call up DCL and ask how you would do that if not everyone in your party is over 18 (?!?!) in case you dont have the right age groups in your rooms now.

Kelly, I still haven't seen my son and have no idea what he's up to. I gave him Brian's number~I'll send him one more message and see if those two can finally get that phone call done.... kids.

Who here has spent time in the Cove?

I hear they upgraded that area in Drydock~

I'd be interested to know if you'd recommend spending time in there or not...

Brenda could drag Aisling to Spa treatments too! I am totally sure that Brenda and Chel have time alotted for the Spa. Nan, you should get in on that one too. Something tells me you wouldn't mind taking Mom for some Spa time~

I just made my final payments on the 2 staterooms! :faint: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :jumping1:

I had to rob peter to pay paul, but I'm so relieved it's done! Wow, we're really going! I wanna start packing!

Nan, any luck with the Wilderness Lodge?

:cheer2:  :cool1: :jumping1: yah Aisling!!!

I'm waiting till the last minute to pay off ours.

The airline changed our flight home AGAIN. The thing I hate the most is that they always separate the 5 of us. Can't they see we are all on one reservation. At least I was able to change the seats so we are all together again. I wonder how many more times it will change before we leave.

Gonna ride my elliptical now. I'm finally able to stay on it for 30 minutes at a time. Hoping to lose at least 10 lbs before the cruise.

yes, I'm sure mom and I will spa. She had her first massage in China and loved it, so I bet we'll do it again. I enjoyed a $1 per minute massage on the deck by the pool. I hope Andrew is on board during our cruise.

We spent a little time in the cove and will spend much more on this trip. It is a quiet get away. I'm not much for shows and expect that I will relax during those times.

I looked online for WL and it seemed open, but then Lee looked and didn't get it. She really wants to stay in AKL again, but not me I want something different. Because we are such a big party I think I'll be going to her house this week and we will call and make the plans over the phone.

I'm paying off our cruise this week too, we got the REAS, I figured mom would love breakfast in bed one morning and I know she will love the rose petals too :lovestruc I figure that night Paul gets the bed by the verdana and mom and I will share.

Off to my desk to get moving.

I think that would be my alternative to the clubs.

I only went into the clubs during my walkabouts and to meet people...never for the shows. really. It's just "not my bag." The Cove sounds like a much better place for adults to gather and hang out and chat. I am now wondering how far forward can you see out of the Cove? Is it a side view or front view of the ocean from inside there? NVM - I found pictures (side view only right?)
I am serious, I never once stepped foot in the Cove and I was on the Magic for 7 whole days!

Having no children with me, the adult area of the Magic was where I was anyway~Almost every day I lounged in the sun on the watery deck of the pool. The water lapped up and kept me cool as I tanned during our sea days. The last full day of our cruise, after doing a full on tour of Castaway Cay, I napped on my deck. Not in the pool this time, in a lounger poolside. I napped so hard I swear I snored and *ahem* may have even drooled. :upsidedow

How's that for a perfect vacation ala Disney~:sunny:

Nan, I guess splitting everybody up into two hotels isn't an option? Try not to wait too long to decide - booking can sell out for the week that you all are looking to go.

Tigg, no worries.. Whenever works for Adrian.

I too want to start packing. Might be a bit impractable (sp?!?!) right now though.

I have to get started on making my FE.. and then purchasing the FE gifts to be delivered.

I know that I dont have to tell you all.. but I AM SOOOOOO EXCITED about this cruise!!! and sad that there are some that I will no longer get to meet this NYE.

103 more days to go!!

It would be nicer to be all together, I hope to make the plans this week :thumbsup2

Hi everyone! We are still on this cruise, and looking forward to it immensely. I emailed Anjelica with our cabin number -- we do want to do the FE exchange, for sure . . .

I met Silmarg on the PC repo and they are NOT on this cruise any more -- too bad, since they were a very nice family.

Looking forward to concentrating on this cruise as our 90 day booking window opens soon!

I'm wondering, do they notify you of the changes, or do you basically find out on your own by checking your reservation? I'm going to take a look at mine!

Hi everyone!

Welcome back, Julie!

Too bad about Silmarg, but I'm sure they won't complain, after having just done the repo!!!:thumbsup2

About the clubs, I enjoyed the lame shows, with the off-key singers and the 3people on the dancefloor. After a long day, I enjoyed the darkness of the clubs, a cool adult beverage in hand, sitting back in the cozy chair, having a few laughs. I usually sat in Rockin' Bar D every late every night for a while before bed, to wind down and people watch. I wouldn't mind a winding up before winding down, if anyone wants to join me.:)

I AM a spa kind of girl for sure -so i'm up for that! and i've seen all the shows 'twice' now as has Ryan....so Aisling i'm right there with ya at the Cove...and Rockin Bar D..,.or wherever...I'm sure Rus & Chel are up for whatever too AND if they want some "ALONE" couple time  - they know they can leave me with you & we'll BE FINE!!!!

I looked thru the cruise itin books this wkend.....i think i'll be sticking to my original plan of nothing....letting Ryan have his diving excursions with Rus...altho with his FB schedule it's getting harder & harder to get him into class....he was going to do a class with his DSis but that's 4 Sats in a row & he'd have to miss 2...can't do that...so no idea how i'm going to arrange it...he may need to take the evening instructional....that will BE a LONG day for him though....school...FB practice & then 3 hours of dive school....:scared1:

We did the west repo, did you do the east repo? We'll have to compare notes over a drink I think :drinking1

Yes, we did the eastbound repo and it was wonderful . . . I'd love to compare notes! A friend of mine did both the WB and the EB -- she posts on the Dis as Eeyorelver (Laura) . . .

I thought you were talking about the club "shows", but I suppose it would be "entertainment", not really shows. I enjoyed that every night, even though the club was practically empty every night, it was a relaxing way to end the night for me.

I was looking through the spa offerings. On the last cruise, by mid week I was really needing a good foot massage. The spa lists some kind of foot treatment with a pedi, but it doesn't really say if it's a strong massage or just a lotion-lathering smoothdown.

I know Chad and Louise are planning a couples massage.

I checked my flights, and so far, no changes. Jetblue is pretty good on not changing out of JFK, so I'm not too concerned. We're flying out at 6 am on the 25th to maximize our WDW time.

Christmas Eve is going to be crazy at my house...I doubt we'll sleep at all that night before we leave for Florida!

yes Laura...I don't think she has posted on our continuing thread since your trip, revcovering I assume.

We have 2 kids DD 11 and DS 8, travelling with us is my 81 mom too. I'm Nan(ette) and my DH is Paul. Remind me if you would who is in your travel group?

Looks like we are going to travel out ~ 12/22 in mass. Fingers crosses tomorrow I work on flights & hotels ressies with my sister.

Lee did book us for Xmas Eve dinner at Wispering Pines and Boma on Xmas :thumbsup2 I'm so excited that Lee is taking hold of the plans for the first part of our trip. I'm the total OCD planner in the family, but this time I'm letting gooooooooooooo :woohoo:

It's me, and my three daughters, 16, 14, and 11 -- our 11 year olds will definitely see each other in Ocean Quest . . .
