Wow.. he is very set in his ways. sounds like Brian's grandmother. She didnt come to our wedding because she didnt want to travel from FL to MA. My inlaws were going to pick her up and drive her up. She declined.

She also declined to go to Disney World (a 45 min drive from her home) when we went in August of 2007. We were going to pay for her park ticket, and she was going to stay w/my inlaws in their room. She again declined. Didnt want to leave her TOWN...

We finally had to take a day out of our parks to go see her. It was worth it in the end, but I dont know that every time we go to Disney that we will take the time to see her.

And its all so sad.. because she is super healthy. no memory problems, no illnesses.. just imaginary ones.

Seems my Mummy was wrong - maybe she just claimed Kirk needed control undies in an attempt to steer me away from him?! Maybe she too was smitten by the Captain and his log but knew he'd choose a younger chick (moi) if push came to shove and the Starship Enterprise made it to England... When I get to Heaven, she's got some 'splainin' to do...
