Brenda and Ryan must be in Italy by now. Wishing you a great vacation, you two!

My mother is still here, and I want her to go hoooooooome!

Brother and family went to see Mary Poppins, and will be taking a trip upstate tomorrow, then back on Wednesday, and then flying back to North Dakota.

Cruise News: I have a booking with Josefina at 11 AM on Dec. 31st in Cozumel. There are 3 spots available if anyone would like to join me. It's $69.

Now I'm hurrying off to Circuit City to buy myself a photo printer. See Tig, you got me moving in high gear working on my scrap books!

I have lots of news and pics from Chad, I'll post later...ALL good, except that I miss him so.

Are you going upstate or staying home?

What printer are you getting?

I figured you and Louise were having missing issues...

That's right! They left today~ :woohoo:

He'll be home before you know it

I'm staying home, because tomorrow I have a meeting to go to about next term's catechism class, and then Wednesday I have a date with Casey.

I never made it to Circuit City...they close at 9:30, used to be 10 PM. I truly have no idea what kind I'm getting. I'm just going to ask the sales person to help me decide.

Did you book online?

I am second guessing myself now, only cause we just watched the second national treasure and I think John would enjoy Tulum~

What do I do? and don't say ask him cause he travels better blind if you know what I mean...

In Key West John and I will walk the city with the Lectura family~

and in Grand Cayman we have the boat thing together right? I still want two spots - it'll be John and I instead of the kids. :hyper:

Castaway Cay, I think we'll play awhile on Serenity Bay and I'll give him a tour of the island bars around shopping and lunch ;)

I'm just going to ask the sales person to help me decide.

noooooooooooo!

Kodak Easyshare AllInOne! 5100 or 5300 - check the bells and whistles on each and compare to what you want. They are great printers! Alls you need is good kodak paper. (Don't ever use the cheap stuff-it's not worth the savings.) Bonus to these besides quality is the fact that kodak made replacing the ink in these cheaper...so you save money later~

I have an Epson RX595 - Good price, good quality, a little complicated to use.

I'm glad my guys want to see Tulum...after seeing Apocalypto, it will be awesome to see the real thing. I'd love to haave you two with me doing the cooking class, but how can you pass up a chance to see the ruins! I want to see them, too, but I really want to have a "cultural experience", so Josefina it is for me. I did book online, through emails back and forth. I'd say you two do Tulum with my guys. It' part of your heritage, afterall.;)

About the photo printer, OMG you scared me with your "noooooooooooo"! I'm glad I have you to advise me. :thumbsup2

Key West is going to be so much fun, just walking around and seeing the sights. And remember we have to go to Hemingway House! Key West is going to be a nice, inexpensive excursion! It'll make up for all the $$$$ I'm going to drop elsewhere.

Tulum is an awesome experience - I'd do it again for sure but IF I were to be hanging with the Mateys in Mexico, I'd come a-cooking with you, Aisling!!! Sounds like you'll have a fab time... :goodvibes

Hi Kazzie!! You still love us!:goodvibes

How're things at Taylor Towers? Is Samuel finished with school for the summer? Any side trips planned before your cruises? Do tell!

Of course I do!!!

Things are good at TT - the Baby (aka Samuel - he'll always be my baby:lovestruc ) finishes on July 5th so not long to go before he and I can spend some quality time watching cartoons and playing Wii... He's back next weekend for my birthday - the big 4 5!!! ;)

No trips planned till till the August biggie - here's a link to my current pre-trippie. :rolleyes1 I decided I wanted to stick around with the doggies this summer so it's sun in the suburbs for us... :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Hey everyone - been reading up on the posts this morning as something goofy has been going on with my subscriptions, etc. I think I fixed it.

I'm sorry Asling - I didn't see your post asking how Sydney's fingers were till this morning due to the email problem - but she is doing great. We went in last week to see the orthopedic guy at Cardinal Glennon and he took the splint off of her and after examining - he said she doesn't need anything on it and just go at her own pace. LOL - her own pace - she is 5 and is already back into most things. This Thursday will be the real test as she has Gymnastics and has been begging to go back to it - and she seems to be able to put weight on her hand along with bending it, etc. so we shall see.

That cooking class seems really neat and fun but I can't do it with the small kids, etc. so maybe in a few years I would like to try it. I definetly think we are going to do one of the Dolphin excursions - on our own and not through Disney - as Sean will then be able to go with us.

I saw the CP narrators came out and I think we may change our Dinner at Le Cellier from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day. I actually like Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica fan here) so I would like to see him rather than the other Gentlemen - but has anyone heard Edward James Olmos - is he good/bad?

Waiting for SW to release fares so I can figure out whether we drive (ugh ugh ugh) or fly. The driving wouldn't be so bad as most would be highway miles and I get at least 24+MPG on the highway with the car but the issue is I am the only driver in the household so it would all fall on my shoulders. Plus I then have to worry about keeping two small kids entertained.

I too am awaiting Southwest's rates...

I've been helping John's aunt fly her kids and grandkids around the east coast and southwest has been the best rate by far~ I hope we not only catch them before they sell out but catch a great rate to boot!

Hi Kaz! I still haven't finished reading your recent cruise trippie - I LOVE the pictures of the suite~thank you for taking so many...I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after looking at them all ~

...I am also duly subscribed and ready for your next adventure ::yes:: :thumbsup2

We also saw Apocolypto! John likes that stuff, he and I watch History Channel all the time! He might not be Mexican but he will absolutely enjoy the history and architecture of the ruins with me.

and Key West! We are absolutely going to Hemingway's house!

It'll be great for Mel and John to hang out with the two of us and the kids. Mel will have a counterpart and John will get to know all of you as I have~

Nan...you've been awful quiet...are you still waiting to see what SW comes up with on airfare before committing? We love you and want you there with us...If I can do it, YOU can do it! pretty please.

I'm lurking. I'm still not planning on coming, but haven't cancelled yet. The idea of getting everything packed again doesn't sound fun at all. I put away half of my clothes from my suitcase just a moment ago, the housecleaner is due to be here soon. Also, I'm still in my 15 day hangover from the repo. I think this one is just too close for me. Work is still slow, so that means no $$$ extra for travel. Your excursions sound fun, I do like to see new places ya know. ::yes:: who knows still have the summer to work and be stuck at home so I may just want a trip after all. And last resort, if mom's house sells we're in.:thumbsup2

Are you saying you guys won't be on the cruise or just the excursions? Please just say its the excursions....:(

if mom's house sells we're in

I'm sending lots and lots of Prayers and Pixie Dust that it does!
(notsomuch that work picks up only cause I think you could use a relaxing summer with the kiddos~)

Anjelica, she's talking about not coming at all :(

Aisling, When does Bro leave? Tomorrow?

...here is the kid's form I mentioned. Print it out and go to a notary with it~
It's all you need to take Cory with you without his parents. (Besides his birth certificate and/or Passport.)

Thank you for the kid's form. Having it there in front of me just made things a lot easier.

Brother and fam leave tomorrow night. I think my mother is leaving tomorrow afternoon (please, God). She's having her hair permed right now, which is a good sign.

Pics from Chad: (if they take too long to load, please tell me, and next time I'll just post a link)

That's the Sistine Chapel of the Vatican in the background. He has an apartment with a wrap-around balcony. I asked him to send me pictures of the kitchen, so I'm hoping he will tonight. He went food shopping, and bought bananas, milk, cereal, Coke, and cookies. I told him to buy some veggies and start cooking! He's already busy with classes, and enjoys it. He's taking Mediating Disputes of the African Continent, International Peacekeeping, and European Parlimentary Conflicts. :faint:

Great place for Chad:thumbsup2 I'd love it without the class work :rotfl2: I'm old.:rotfl:
