It's a large day in my little world. I picked up my new suit and sport coat for the cruise at lunch time and my passporter arrived today. So I will look damn good reading tonight!

I love the picture of Nan and her gang. They look like a lot of fun. I guess I need to add "Pirate Gear" to my shopping list.

The Artman came home soooo excited
He had his suit and his Passporter. He hasn't spoken a non Disney word to me since, except pass the gravy. I'm going to start looking for a therapist for him so that when the cruise is over we can get him in right away.

Hey Aisling, I have a dress for formal night (black). I'll get a photo when it comes back from alterations. No shoes yet, but I found a dress I like for New Years. Seafoam green (sort of) sparkly, to the knee with some cleavage. It was $400 so I am waiting for a sale or something else to come along. I'm too cheap to spend that much on a dress I'll wear once (as I'm planning on being two dress sizes smaller for the cruise than will ever be humanly possible to maintain past day five of eating on the ship, let alone real life ).

Claudia, I was thinking, we're only going to need one formal dress for the cruise. When there's a holiday, they put formal night on the night of the holiday, so we can be guaranteed that formal night will be on New Year's Eve. And just something dressy but not necessarily "formal" for Palo dinner, if you choose to do Palo.

I had a dream about Jack Sparrow last night.

There are so many great dress shops where I live! I've definitely decided to wear a short dress for formal night, because showing some leg will add the illusion of height, which I need!

Aisling - you are right about formal night on NYE, as thats what they did when we went over NYE in 2003/04. Only one "formal" dress is needed.

Have you started marking the excursions that sound good? My Passporter is filled with check marks, Xs, notations, etc. I go through it when I'm waiting for my son to get out of school, and I've even started sketching which suitcases/garment bags we'll be taking, like a tally. By September, I'll be tormenting my family with "so what're you wearing on the plane ride down?" Well, tormenting Mel, because the kids are almost as obsessive about WDW as I am!
So Artman, what're you wearing on the plane ride down?
