I was just checking the webcam for the Gatun locks at Panama, the Magic is just about thru that area.

I'm watching the webcams, too, but can't find the Magic. There's a thread about it, so I'm going to see if anyone has the right link.

You had to click on the second tab, but I think you can only see it if it was currently going thru, I lucked out, as it was 9:34 am and I got to see the back end of the Magic!!

i downloaded the videos from the aug '05 crossing - but missed this a.m's. Ryan & I sure wanted to stay on the ship that day....but there is always work to go too & he was starting his 1st year as a freshman - they were very good about letting him miss the 1st 3 days....but think they may have really frowned on missing 2.5 wks!!!! they don't allow vacations as excused absences....i don't know how Molly & Wilson are doing that...

ahhhh...we don't have progressive schools here in gilroy or watsonville - but San Jose would...thats great they can do that...i'm SOOO looking forward to being able to take cruises & other Disney vacs. 'any' time of the year - & not around school schedules

Got an email today from amazon that my Passporter still was not shipped. They have no idea when it will be shipped, so I cancelled. I ordered another one from Chapters (a Canadian book retailer), they claim to have it in stock and are able to get it to me next week.

I just cancelled Pop, and booked WL! Since we'll be in WDW on Christmas, I wanted it to be special. Now I'm waiting for the Candlelight Processional narrators to be announced (I think not until July) and I'll be set! Still hoping for Gary Sinese!

I am jealous, I wanted to go down a few days early too. However I got out voted 2 to 1, after 3 years in a row being away for Christmas Claudia and Owen wanted to be home this year. I campaigned very hard for that extra vote, you should have seen this 41 yo man trying to convince a 7yo boy to go to WDW, how pathetic is that.

In the end Mickey got beat out by Santa (damn childhood fantasies).

we are staying a few days 'after' - so that we can be home for Xmas with the DH, but still get some WDW time & thinking crowds should be less as ppl will be returning home for work & school schedules. we fly back 1/06 - ds' school resumes on 1/7....does something like that interfere with Claudia or Owen's school schedule?

They have to be back on Jan 5th. It would be okay for Owen to miss a couple of days, but impossible for Claudia.

This will be our first time being at WDW on Christmas Day. I just have to get a park ticket for Mel, as the rest of us have non-expiring park hoppers with some days left on them. But who knows, he may decide to spend the days before the cruise just relaxing at the resort.

Anjelica, will you be adding the before and after cruise stays onto the website?

Our plan is arrive early, some quick power shopping and spending the rest of our time vegging on our balcony - and oh ya - dinner at Jiko and breakfast at Boma before getting picked up by the DCL bus

ahhh - i LOVE AKL!!! we are trying to get BW Villas - Rus & chel's home is Saratoga Springs - but none of us have stayed at BWV so Rus is working on that - or will be in June...

Today is DS' prom = he left here - went to his friend Ramses' house - got ready there (so no photos) - but i realized he left the corsage for Marisa in the refrigerator - so i drove part way over to meet him - so got a couple of photos alongside the road (will definitely have to work some photo editing magic) before making the album~

Went shopping today-got some things for trip to Iowa & a few things for Italy too......
nothing planned for tomorrow - have some work to do for school mtg monday night....need to get all the financials ready since it's the 'last' general mtg....supposed to be cooler tomorrow - was still 95 at 6pm ....i don't go out side much when it's that hot....ya i know - i'm a wuss
