Thank you Kaz! Mickey and Minnie look mahvelous for the holiday~

I tend to dress up the outfit with accessories too. Yargh pirate:

John and I went to the beach again today...it was so chilly when I got there I wrapped in my blanket instead of sitting on it~it cleared out within a couple hours. John fished and I read.

:beach:

We'll probably just do pirate shirts. I'm not even sure if I'm bringing my long gown this time. Have to watch that luggage!!

All my kids went to see fireworks. My youngest just called--he just saw a car hit another car then a person and then took off(he was at a friends house). He couldn't talk because the sirens were too loud by him. Don't know if anyone was hurt. That's why I hate when my kids are out. I worry about things like this happening to them.

Oh.. forgot to let everyone know.. our room number is 2562

Updated the website - also everyone else I am working on the pm's and emails you sent to get everything out there. Been a little behind as I had a nasty case of strep and was out of work for a few days. Hope everyone is having a good 4th of July weekend!!!!

happy saturday!!!! have 8 ppl coming today to crop...so should be a fun day....i hope they are not all as tired as i am; i don't have a problem getting up this early ever - but i usually don't stay up till midnite like i did last night:lmao:. but we were DSIL's for f/w & then we all had to play some guitar hero...the crop is only from 8:30-4:30 so i can go to bed fairly early tonite....have a short walk scheduled for tonite - 4 miles; & another big walk tomorrow a.m. - only 10 miles though....

I am going to presume since you scrapbook that to crop you mean to scrapbook.
Only way I figured that out was to put the word crop up on search.
That is a lot of hours.

Also, I walk 2 miles and it takes a 1/2 hour, approx. You walk 4 miles & 10 miles and call them short walks. WOW.

Yes cropping is just another term for scrapbooking...once a month i host a 12hour crop where my clients just get 'time' to work on their albums...there's no 'class' or instruction like what Colleen has been doing...as these clients have been scrapbooking as long as i have or close to it....it's only 8 hrs this month because it's a holiday wkend...

I schedule the long walks for the wkends - but it's all training (or feet conditioning) for the 60 mile breast cancer event i'm doing sept 5th-7th. At that event, we'll walk approx 20 on friday, 20 on sat & 14 on sunday. i doubt i'll continue the 3-5 hour walks after the event - it's just so much time....but the coaches for the event send us a wkly training schedule so i'm trying to really follow that....

I agree with Jill, wow about the walking! When I was a lot younger, I was a runner, and did some long miles, and while my boady handled it well, my feet always ached afterwards. Brenda, you're amazing.

Judy, any word on the people involved in that accident?

Going to check out the website now. Thanks Anjelica, hope you're feeling better.

Brenda, Way to go!! Just curious, if you take a couple hundred pictures on a trip, how many scrap books do you fill up? I think that's a neat thing to do with pictures. I just don't think I have the patience or talent. I made 3 scrapbooks in my lifetime. They seemed more like a chore for me. I guess if I had all the right tools and stuff needed, it might make it easier.

Aisling, there was nothing in the paper or on the news about the accident. When my son came home, he said some drunk man in a pick up truck plowed into a man on a motorcycle. The man on the motorcycle flipped over his bike and was on the ground. The guy in the truck never stopped, blew out a tire on the curb, and took off on the freeway. All the people in the area (including my son) went running because they thought the truck might run into them. I guess the man from the motorcycle wasn't moving, and paramedics weren't moving him. My son and his friends were so shook up that they just left after about 15 minutes. He believes the police caught up with the truck driver because they saw flashing lights on the freeway at the next exit when they left.

I bought suntan lotion today for the trip and put it aside. We only have 5 months left to shop and pack you know!!

Just checked out Angelica's web page, things are looking good. I see she has the rotation info on the home page, I have been wondering about that because I don't want to make our Palo ressies on Pirate Night.

Claudia leaves for her conference in Florida tomorrow morning at 7:00am, and I am flying to Montreal to go to the James Taylor concert 1/2 an hour later. Great timing on the flights considering we live over an hour from the airport.

I think DCL is going to do a switch and put Formal Night on NYE, instead of having Pirate Night on NYE.

Good trip, Claudia!
Fun concert, Artman!

The 12x12 scrapbooks can hold 600-800 photos - depending on what size you 'crop' the photos & how much memorabilia you have as well; i have pretty much gone all digital this past year - so i don't print photos any more...just import them to the 'virtual pages' i creat & then i print whole completed pages...no mess - no chore....AND i can work on my albums while spending time with DH in front of the TV (which is where he's usually at with some sports show on)....I bought suntan lotion today for the trip and put it aside. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: i just cleaned out my suitcase...maybe i better start repacking it - i AM so excited that we're less than 6 months away!!! :yay: :woohoo:

I haven't been anywhere yet this year...I have alot coming up tho!

This month I have the Hershey Magicmeet (Disney Fans Gathering) that I help organize: July 18 - 20th. Next month I have the Muskifest in Bethlehem PA. I will spend a total of five days over the course of two weeks up there. One overnight - hopefully with DH. Then we have our week in NC :woohoo: :beach:

September will be a dead month for me, then October 25th Rose wants John and I to come to Orlando with her and Ed for halloween (8 days there! :woohoo:)

THEN! I can prepare for the cruise!

As I buy my summer clothes I am planning my cruise outfits~I have three really cute dinner outfits so far and lots of casual summer stuff (in Mickey and Minnie motif of course ;) ) Disney Stores are having another clearance sale this week so I just picked up a new hand bag, travel bag, two new tops and a travel mug (all for $40 I might add.) I went back to the Disney store that wanted to hire me at Christmas time and they want to bring me in as a part timer as soon as the middle of the summer hits.

The National Geographic contest was a bust :(

NJ residents are ineligible! total bummer...but meant to be~

Nicely done!:thumbsup2

I am officially the Clearance Queen!

Ok girls and boys, I've decided that I'm not wearing a floor-length gown on formal night. I have too many very dressy formally shorter dresses that I can't justify spending money on a new gown. I even have a goldish one if I stick with the gold idea. I think Louise will agree with me. For my men, I wanted to rent tuxes through DCL, but they'll just wear suits with ties and jackets that they already own. I'd rather spend the money elsewhere, like on my bar bill!

I'm with you...i'm sure i have something in my closet that is very appropriate...it just needs to fit!!!:rotfl2:

Hey all!!! Glad to see everyone is busy as usual...:) As some know I went ahead and put the rotation schedule out on the first page of the website BUT I wasn't 100% sure regarding pirate and formal night. Anyone know when we "might" know for sure if they were going to switch that due to NYE this year?

Asling - I know I hit you up about possibly sharing a ride from WL to Port on departure day but after getting Southwests rates we will probably end up driving. I can't believe we will probably do it but overall it's around 15 hours and if we break it up into two days its definetly doable. As long as southwest doesn't come back with an unbelievable rate we will probably just plan for that.
