I have another weekend of homework, this is Finals week.

Bye Aiz!!! Love those photos... It's funny how two sons can be so different. Matty (the eldest) is the hair experimenter - he was a model whilst at Uni so had some crazy looks. This is one of the more sane photos from that era...

Samuel favours Chad's look - the all-over buzz. Tho' he's currently ringing the changes by growing his sideburns a little longer... He likes the fact that most rock guitarists have long hair - and he doesn't...

I noticed that, too. I guess ladies who look like me are a dime a dozen! I'll see if I can take a decent picture of myself, then post it.

Jesse is going to LOVE that photo of Matty's hair, can't wait to show him. Wow, what a looker your boy is!

Jesse has also done some modeling, runway for Paul Mitchell the hair designer. He had to stop, as it interferred with school, but maybe this summer he can get some more modeling jobs.. His girlfriend is a model for Converse, and she's currently on a billboard by a major bus stop. It's fun for them, they get free merchandise, and a nice chunk of pocket money just for strutting around!

Nice photos Aisling....isn't it funny with hairstyles these days? Just about anything goes...Ryan has had his short (anywhere from a buzz to a spiked cut) since he was 7 y/o & then he has a couple of friends with "afro-like" styles & others with the longer cuts like Jesse wants...

Kaz - your Matty is a handsome one for sure! but then, just looking back at the photos of all our kids & they are ALL pretty darn cute / handsome!!!

Hi teacherbell!!!!! Yes, jump right in!
This will be my second cruise. We did the Christmas Cruise 2005 on the Magic, and that's how I met some of the Disers on this thread.
I'm cruising with my two sons, 16 and 23 by then, son's GF, my 15 year old nephew, and my DH who wasn't with us on the other cruise.


Have you started planning yet, excursions, where to stay before the cruise, formal night attire, etc?

Good Morning Aisling....i was just posting on the TK'ers that i've completed 38 pgs of my NYC trip & have a day & 1/2 left to do....(probably another 10 pgs)....but once it's completed - sending you & Colleen a link to view the whole album......going to work on it more today - since i still can't do any 'real' housework - i think i should be able to hire a housecleaner this week....

Bummer week here - Kara had a spot on one arm that looked like a bite - she mowed the yard over the weekend - by Wednesday - both arms were covered in nasty welt like bumps - got her in at doctor and she has a staph skin infection, and was in the infectious stage - so she has been home from school since Wed - missed her prom and after prom last night, a morning at lazer tag, and will miss her swim banquet tonight

just hoping doctor releases her tomorrow but at the moment, her spots are still draining (TMI) so being released is doubtful at the moment.

At least I have been able to get over to school to get her homework so she can keep up

It's such a shame she had to miss so much because of it but best that you took care of it immediately~

Brenda, creative memories sent me an offer to come back to them without charging me a reinstatement fee...I'll know after my visit with Aisling if I'm gonna come back~just wanted to let you know.

I sailed with some of this crew in 2005....our original group has dwindled to almost nothing now tho...some I have met thru this thread. It's still an awesome group and I know you all will have a fabulous time together~

My DH is the planner in the family, and yes, it has started. We are staying at the Radison the night before, so we can be near the port. We have started thinking about the excursions. Do you recommend any?

What shall I wear??? That is the real question here. How dressed up do people get? My DH was talking about a tux. Do I need a ball gown? Prom Dress?
I'm looking for a little girly advice.

oh that's very cool...i didn't know they had that offer out there....but check out all the new products (all the true 12x12's & 8x8's etc. as well as the new Disney products - there's quite a collection) I did finish my NYC trip today - going to upload the last 12 pages to Costco now - so i can pick those up tomorrow. Tonite i'm going to purchase the new Disney digital kits. It's easier to let the download run thru the night - less internet traffic...if you do sign back on - have you thought about looking into teaching some scrapbooking classes at a community center or community college? there's a gal around here who teaches at the college...she has about 3 classes each semester.

DS & I arrive evening of 26th; friends Chel & Rus arriving late 12/25. We are staying at the Embassy Suites & driving to Port early the 27th.
Chel already has her dress - it's black / cranberry - haven't seen it - but sounds pretty dressy....i haven't even started to look for a dress yet. Ryan & Rus are bringing suits, but i'm also thinking of renting Ryan a tux for NYEve...but haven't discussed with him yet...i think we'll see short semi-dressy attire to full length gowns for NY...my concerns are how much room a long gown can take in a suitcase....
