NYE travel

Does anyone know the best time to buy airline tickets for travel around NYE. Some of the fartes are decent now, but not great. I don't know if I should wait and risk not being able to get anything.

Book these tickets ASAP!!! Last year, I bought my NYE tickets around this time for $270 r/t (usually it is around $230) and the next week it went up to over $500 and stayed there (then eventually went up).

Always book early for holidays!
