NYE Transportation From AKL

What would be the best way to get from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Bay Lake Tower at 9:30 NYE, assuming that MK is at its highest stage closure? Will they still run a bus from AKL to MK so that I could walk to BLT? Am I looking at a bus to Epcot/HS then second bus to BLT?

They won't run a bus to a closed park, so you'll need to transfer at an open park or DTD. I would just take a cab.

Any thoughts on cab availability at 9:30 PM? seems like it should be ok with plenty of time before midnight, but wondered if anyone had had specific experience? I'm debating whether to keep a 7:30 Jiko reservation -- we're going to watch the NYE fireworks from our BLT room, so I just want to get back with minimal hassle.

There are plenty of cabs, you'll be fine. It's certainly going to be easier and faster than relying on the buses - especially if you have to transfer at DTD.
