NYE Question

Should we celebrate NYE in Magic Kingdom or EPCOT?

We did Magic Kingdom last year and loved it!!!!

We were thinking of trying EPCOT this year for NYE, but are afraid that it will be a let down from last year at Magic Kingdom.


I would appreciate your input!

Will you be there on December 30? If so do BOTH! MK does the full entertainment offering on December 30 and 31 to try and eliviate the crowds on the 31st. If you go to MK on the 30th you will get to have the full experience and still go to Epcot on December 31 without feeling let down! Epcot does a very nice presentation as well, so I think you will enjoy it!

Is the EPCOT show the normal show or do they add more to it for NYE? I've seen the notmal show at EPCOT. The Magic Kingdoms fireworks at midnight are extra special. Thats what I'm looking for.

Epcot usually does Holiday Illuminations which is different than the normal show. But I agree with the other post. MK does the exact same show on December 30 and 31st so you would have the opportunity to experience the NYE show at MK on the 30th and then spend the 31st at Epcot. But that's just me. I think it would be nice to be able to have both experiences.
