NYE Plans?

Anyone doing anything fun? We were supposed to go spend two nights in Boston but have cancelled since cases are rising. So looks like it is apps, games and a movie at home. You?

When the ball drops and welcomes in 2022.....I will be sleeping. As for earlier; not much. I will have a small gathering (all family) New Year's Day more towards evening to watch the Rose Bowl and play cards.

In all actuality, my wife and I will probably just watch the celebration from Times Square on TV and then head to bed. No big plans, which is fine with me after the busy Christmas weekend!

Same thing for years - watch TV, and maybe make it to midnight. But I wouldn't count on it.

We've been partying here for 10 days. There will be a pick-up football game in the cul-de-sac and a BBQ. Super homespun and casual. Hope to be in bed by 9:30 pm, after a NYC time zone toast with hubby. Starting a new Peloton challenge in 2022 and need my rest to keep up with the young whippersnappers.

Not Disney I assume. We did a NYE cruise on Disney, huge party in the Attrium, not sure they can do that anymore, and by 12:10 am is was empty. So much for partying the night away, everyone had gone to bed!

Got + lab result this morning for DH. We had to cancel all plans for the rest of this week & weekend. This is the 2nd time we've cancelled seeing Spider-Man No Way Home. So we preordered it this morning instead. For us, NYE/NYD will be a repeat of Christmas Eve/Christmas day of just us 4. Going to watch Cobra Kai, hang out in our PJs, fishsticks, asparagus, & mac n cheese for dinner.

We’re attempting the craziness of actually going to Times Square. Son (18) and I are flying to nyc tomorrow night. We’ve never been there this time of year and they have scaled it back and are only letting 15,000 people in. We’re hoping we’re able to get in!!

Haven’t been out for New Years Eve in years.

Will eat appetizers stuff for supper as well and channel surf until the ball drop . I want to watch Andy and Anderson on CNN they are pretty funny and my daughter wants to watch Ryan Seacrest. Most singers I don’t know anymore….lol

Nothing, just like Christmas Eve. Since it’s a Friday it’s my turn to cook dinner for my MIL again and then my husband has to take it over and spend the night with her. I wouldn’t mind so much if she were nice and appreciative of what we all do for her, but she’s not. She never has been.
