NYE at 7 months?

Has anyone ever gotten a 3-5 night stay that includes NYE at 7 months? I would need a 2 bedroom and I am hoping OKW or SSR has had availablility in the past.

I admit, I have gone way overboard in calendar year 2010 as far as inviting friends and family. The long Marathon weekend, a Beach Cottage with OVIRs, and then BCV over the 4th of July weekend for the family has sort of robbed me of home resort advantage at the 11 month mark in a 2 bedroom. I have about 700 points to spend, all to be borrowed from my 2011 UY, but I'll have to wait until 7 months to use the mix.

Should I book a studio for DH and me, so we definitely go (I'm assuming that some studios are available at one of my home resorts for a 4 night stay), and then try to get a 2 bedroom somewhere at 7 months?

Really, is it a pipe dream? Maybe I never should have mentioned it to DS/DDiL, but I did. Has anyone ever gotten a 7 month NYE reservation on site in a 2 bedroom?

I have gotten NYE at less than 7 months at SSR so you may have a chance. I might make the home resort reservation just in case however since this year when I tried to change resorts at 7 months for the week after Christmas I had no luck. I was trying for AKV Kidani however so that was probably the problem. I already had reservations for BCV, OKW and SSR so it wasn't that big a deal for us. I think you have the best chance if you are looking for NYE and a couple of days afterwards rather than the days before. You may have to waitlist NYE itself but I think you will get it since you are open to the two large resorts.
