Still looking for 2 more people to join us! NYE Illuminations cruise. It leaves from the Yacht Club Marina at 10:40. Cost is $100 per person and that includes tips. It's the cruise that includes snacks and soft drinks, and a very knowledgeable boat captain!

The latest is that there are still 2 seats available for some lucky last minute couple who wants to enjoy Illuminations from a boat and not in the crowds for NYE. The cost for the cruise is $100 per person and that includes the tip for the captain. Usually the cost is less, but for NYE the initial cost of the boat with the snacks is in the $850 range,and when you put the tip in, that's the way the $100 per comes about.

Hey WDW,

Just posting again for anyone who needs a magical evening at the last minute:

We have rented a 10-person boat to take us onto the lake for the New Year's Eve late viewing of Illuminations, and we have 2 seats left.

The music is piped into the boat to sync with the show, so it's a great way to get away from the crowds on land.

Seats are $100 per person, so anyone looking for a very unique way to spend New Year's Eve this year (or if you value personal space and breathing room), PM me or email at mfro@me.com.

One final bump, for those who haven't read my thread. Jiminy and his girlfriend are now engagedAnd it happened on the cruise! The other Disboarders whom we met were wonderful to get to know! The captain provided other goodies to eat drink and make merry included in the cost. The boats did not stay under the bridge but did go a bit onto the lagoon so we had a better view of the fireworks. If anyone is thinking of doing something like this next year, I say GO FOR IT!

The last time I did an illumination cruise with Disboarders, people on the next boat got married! You never know what you'll experience!

Wow bobbi, that sounds like a great experience! I'll have to look into that now even though we won't be there for NYE it sounds like a very special way to watch the fireworks ... maybe I can convince DH to make that my birthday treat this year!
