Yesterday we finally went to NYC to the World of Disney Store!
My kids (and myself) were so excited to go! We walked all the way from Grand Central up to 55th street were the store was located stopping at Toys R Us to ride the faris wheel and American Girl (my son loved this stop
) and finally WORLD OF DISNEY!
We walked in and were so excited to see all the stuff you would see at Disney! I was like a kid in a candy shop! We took pictures of the kids in front of the castle picture on the wall, with Cruella and Goofy statues. We didn't have time to visit the charactors but I think Pooh and Tigger were there. My son was happy
because they had pins there and they don't at the Disney stores in our local mall. He picked up a 50th anniversary pin. They may even trade with you because they were asking my son if he pin traded. Overall I was trilled with the store but was a little disappointed they didn't have more adult clothing. My kids loved the stores we visited but as my 6 year old put it it was a little
for her. People were too "pushy" (meaning always moving you along) no time to rest. They both made the observation "it isn't this crowded in Disney when we go!" I did pickup some earings I forgot to get while in Disney last time. Overall a successful wonderful trip, a great way to get "disneyfied" between trips.
