can't watch t.v. -- they keep interrupting the football game for updates and presss conferences. settle it already guys!

I've been on and off following this, did they strike yet? They threatened to do it here once, but nothing came of it. If they did, I didn't notice, and I rely on the CTA!!

the contract expires at midnight tonight and the union threatened to walk at that point.

I sure hope they settle it already - I've got business with our home office (trying to secure some digital photos of our senior leaders, and I went through a great deal of trouble to make the arrangements!) but if the transit strike happens I've already been told point blank it won't happen.

I've a feeling that there will be a strike. Bloomberg sounds like he's not going to do anything else to stop it.

It will be a nightmare for me comes Monday morning.

I really think Gov. Pataki and Mayor Bloomberg have dropped the ball with this. Just seems like no one cares and I find that truly disgusting.

The LIE Is going to -stink- in the morning if there's a transit strike from all the people trying to drive into work...

One other thing to add -

While I see the point in striking, considering I haven't gotten a raise in over 2 years in my private sector job, I really am finding it hard to gather any sympathy.
