well, it goes like this.our union is 20,000 strong.so we recommond our workers to vote for bloomberg in the election,thats 20,000 votes plus our family and friends votes.in return we get a contract when he wins the election and all get pay raises.certain politicians understand that 20,000 strong means at least 60,000 votes,when it comes to our familys and friends and neighbors.so they don't want to make us not like them.plus if we decided were against you most of the other city unions all stay together.so if your running you'll have no chance.striking is not allowed by nyc employees and very illegal,it comes with fines of 2 million per day for the union,as well as 25 grand to each employee per day.also with 20,000 we can cause alot of grief for you,like 5,000 showing up at public funtions and protesting in front of the public and media,like in the case of the FDNY and NYPD which followed bloomberg around 24 hrs a day for 2 weeks right before elections.see how quick we got a contract with that stunt,trust me he did'nt need that publicity when he had 5,000-10,000 FDNY and NYPD guys showing up everywhere he was and screaming and protesting.It was all over every news channel.we got a contract ,a good one and fast.Free4Life11 said:
