nyc tomorrow july 4th

How crazy will it be tomorrow to get in and out of
nyc??? I have a friend who has decided to be adven-
terous and drive in to see a show. Any tips??

Now that I think about it, I think I'd drive to the North Bergen park and ride, take a bus into Port Authority, and walk to the theater.

early is ok, but past 4 or 5pm you might have problems with traffic getting into the city. If your friend can, i would suggest parking car in a different boro and taking mass transit.

LOL - this was my tip, but just watching the news, and the fireworks are going to be on the West Side, so it's going to be crazy in NJ as well as NYC. North Bergen, Weehawken, Hoboken - all to be avoided. I think it would be doable if they were on the East Side, but not this year.

Well keep an eye out on T.V., I am doing the FDNY stand by( just in case) on the west side highway for the fire works event.

I would imagine it would be caaaaarazy!!

I went to NYC last year for the 4th and saw fireworks while there.. it was the craziest thing I've ever seen, but was the best time of my life!!
