NYC to Orlando flights in August?

Wow..Jet Blue, looks like almost $400 per person from JFK to MCO and back in middle to late August. That is flying out in the morning and returning in the afternoon, which of course are peek times, but that seems steep for a family of 5. Geez. What to do, what to do?

EWR, LGA even PHL. I within an hour or so of all these and always expand my search. $400 is way high IMO. You should be able to get in the 200-250 range

If you can get to ISP (islip) easily check out SW.

DD is going down with a group of her friends in August and she got cheaper tickets on CO (even with the luggage fees) than Jet Blue, from EWR.

I appreciate the responses. I was able to shift my vacation from a Wednesday departure and return, and managed to get it for $240 RT on Jet Blue, plus fees, LOL

Looks like you worked it out. Next time you should check HPN (White Plains). Not sure if it's convenient but they have both Airtran and Jetblue direct flights to MCO.
