Hi Everyone!

I'm in the midst of planning a trip to NYC for our anniversary (July), and am thinking of doing the spa thing one day during the trip.

Our hotel is on 46th St., and I'm looking for a spa that is within walking distance of home base.

Does anyone have any positive experiences at any of the spas in the area? I'd like to have time to make the arrangements.

TIA....

There are a couple Bliss Spas in Manhattan. There is one in the hotel I stay in for work, so I get to frequent it often. :thumbsup2

The hotel is on 46th between 6th and 7th.

Have you had many of their treatments?

Which ones do you like the best?

TIA!

Which treatments have you experienced at GK?

All three of these are within walking distance- this is really exciting!!

Thanks!

Bliss Spa was used in a "What Not to Wear" episode. :thumbsup2 However, I heard they are really into the hard sell of pushing their products in adition to whatever service you get.

Have you had a microderm abrasion there? I have age spots & am interested in getting a microderm abrasion.

Jurlique Day Spa

Both are in walking distance. I haven't been to that Jurlique Spa, but I've been to three others and they are wonderful. I've been to Red Door and loved it.

I second the Red Door Salon. I try to go about twice a year. I usually get a facial and massage.

I'd like to try the Greenhouse Spa sometime. I've heard good things about it.

All I had done at bliss was a wax, and let me tell you, if you're a waxing type person, theirs is the BEST. Let's just say I had it in a very, well, sensitive area, and it was as close to painless as I think you can get.

I've heard great things about their wraps, massages and nail care--it's pretty popular

At GK, I always get the same thing, a facial and a well being massage.

Also wanted to say that I have been to Red Door too and thats another great spa!

Let us know what you picked and how you liked it!
