NWA--Who boards first?

Northwest will board wheelchair passengers first, then offer pre-boarding for families travelling with small children, persons needing extra assistance, first class passengers and usually the elite members (NW Platinum, Gold, Silver elites, plus elite level flyers in the CO or DL programs), then if they have time, exit row passengers, then they do general boarding from the rear of the plane.

(I've seen elite preboarding skipped when they were running late, same with exit row preboarding)

Syracusewolerine, I pretty much new the order of boarding. But wasn't sure about the back to front. First time that i flew DD and Neice boarded before the rest of us, couldn't figure out why. It turned out they had exit row seats. By the time my Mom and I boarded there wasn't any over head storage left. I didn't want that to happen again. I think i'll call nwa and see if I can move our seat assigment back a couple of rows. Dson will be flying with us this time, it will be his first time flying and he is allready turning green just thinking about it. Maybe I should have him sit next to the restroom .
