NWA NonRefundable ticket leftover voucher amount

If I change a nonrefundable ticket on Northwest Airlines into a ticket that is cheaper and have a left over voucher credit, can I apply that voucher to anyone else's ticket in my family?

No, once a ticket is purchased, it technically belongs to that person. So if a voucher is issued, the voucher will be in that person's name. I just had this happen with three tickets. I received three vouchers in three different people's names. The voucher is good for one year.
