I am switching my flight to have a couple extra days at WDW. I can either arrive at 1030 pm on normal flights or take a small (50-passenger) commuter plane and get there at 430p. Should be a no-brainer, right? But, I am not fond of flying and wonder how the smaller planes compare in feel to the bigger ones? I would only have to go from Indy to Memphis on the small plane. Can someone who has flown on a little plane help me out?

TIA.

They are a little more cramped but the ride is pretty much the same.

The small jets are nice as long as you are not large, but the seat cushions seem a little thin. Our rears were getting sore even after the short 90 minute flight from RDU to MCO!

We started carrying Therm-A-Rest seat cushions, what a difference! The cushions rollup into a small package (about 3" x 15"), and self-inflate. Be sure to let some air out once you gain altitude, they get pretty full at the lowered cabin pressure! ;)
