Hmm...Even $50 or $20 a month is far too much for me to spend on any kind of a plan. I have my "dumb" cellphone that only does talk and text that I only paid $20 for
with a full month of airtime when I bought it at
walmart. And I use it rarely. My airtime for a
full year was only $65.
I also won't be spending the money on an ipod touch since I already have an ipod that 6+ years old and still works perfectly fine after replacing the battery once (generic battery and did it myself).
See, I'm cheap and have to be since I don't make much money. I have my 7" wi-fi only tablet (not apple brand) that I've had for over a year and I carry and use it every day. Even in my purse. So, it doesn't seem all that heavy and bulky to me. Even with the cheap case I have it in. Oh, and it will be covered with a ziplock bag for those wet times that always happens at WDW.
No, I don't see the humor in calling people "tools".
I don't own an ipad, but do have a tablet that I will have with me and will be using to take the few pics I will be taking. Of course, if you only have something against those using
iPads and not other tablets, then you're still a jerk because you're still discriminating against people who can afford them.
I will look "ridiculous" and like a "tool" if I have to because I'm not spending the money on a camera that I will next to never use when I have a perfectly good one on my tablet. I won't be spending the money on a smart phone with any kind of a plan because it's an extra monthly expense I can't afford. I won't be spending the money on an ipod touch since I have a perfectly good old ipod.
Personally, I really don't care what people think about me. But I always try to keep to myself, keep low-key, say my pleases, thank-yous and excuse mes. I always try to be considerate of others when I'm out and about. I also don't snicker, give dirty looks to people and call them tools because they're using/doing something that I think might be silly.
