December use years can be confusing because for 11 months of the year, your use year is different than the calendar year.
A December use year looks like this:
Year.....Vacation Dates
2005.....Dec 1, 2005 - Nov 30, 2006
2006.....Dec 1, 2006 - Nov 30, 2007
2007.....Dec 1, 2007 - Nov 30, 2008
2008.....Dec 1, 2008 - Nov 30, 2009
and so on.
A June 2007 vacation falls into your 2006 use year. That vacation could use 2005 banked points, 2006 current points, or 2007 borrowed points.
You don't have any 2005 points, 179 2006 points, and 200 2007 points.
So you could use your current 179 and borrow your 2007 points.
2008 points could only be borrowed into your 2007 use year, which is for dates Dec 1, 2007 - Nov 30, 2008, so they could not be used for a June 2007 vacation because that's in your 2006 use year, and you can only borrow points from one year ahead.
Hope this helps.
