We always keep nutella stocked in our pantry. My favorite thing is to spread it on waffles with fruit on top! Where do they have this in Disney? I've never met anyone who doesn't love nutella.

I was talking to my mom the other day and she said she can't stand the stuff!! What????? I'm now not for certain that we are related, lol

The chocolate is the same like "Kinder Riegel", so if anyone is at Disney World in September, I can bring you Nutella and Kinder Riegel

That's odd. We have a local German restaurant that sells a lot of German candy including Kinder Riegels. Obviously, businesses are allowed to import them. You can also buy them online to ship to US homes. It seems strange they won't allow Germans to carry them in, when it's so easy to get them here.

BTW, the ORIGINAL Nutella should not be confused with American made Hazlenut spread. NOT the same thing.

ALSO... buy Nutella only in the glass jars. Skip the plastic (it does not spread as easily and not as creamy).

It's the Surprise/Eggs/Überraschung that are not allowed here. Same chocolate and wafer but no egg.

Some people over here can't live without Nutella. Me for example, even I normally don't eat much chocolate.

But I do everything for Ferrero Kinder Riegel, Kinder Schokolade, Kinder Überraschung, Nutella, Raffaelo, Rondnoir, etc.

and: HARIBO!!

Nutella is very common in the USA. I have to buy it in huge jugs at Costco because my family inhales the stuff. Haribo is very common too - love their gummy bears!

I cannot stand the stuff but then again i hate hazelnuts. My kids love it. There is a restaurant near here that makes nutella milkshakes. My kids say they are the best.

When I returned from my first trip to Europe in 1996, where I had discovered Nutella and my love for it!, I looked for Nutella everywhere and it was impossible to find. It is pretty popular in the US now, but that wasn't always the case. Even though it is easier to find and more "mainstream" than it used to be, it is still definitely not a staple in most American households.

I put Nutella on so much--it's especially delicious on multigrain bread and graham crackers, I've come to learn.

Can't wait to eat again in just over 3 weeks! And I'll have my little packets with me to slather more on. Don't think they put enough on personally. But I can also eat half a jar in one sitting if I don't watch myself!

I made mini Nutella cheesecakes for my daughter's baby shower and they were a HUGE hit! We also make paninis with Nutella and bananas sprinkled with confectioners sugar (cause they're not sweet enough lol!) and Nutella rolls with flour tortillas and fruit. Yes...I realize that we have an addiction LOL!!! Can't wait to try the waffle in Sept!!!!
