Hi there everyone:flower3: My sister and I are over from the land down under (Australia) in May. We are both RNs and work in the operating theatre in post anaesthetic care. We love to wear our own scrubs in bright colors, but have only been able to get them from the USA via the internet (which is VERYexpensive) as they don't make nice nurses scrubs over here. We were wondering if there is anywhere close to DW that sells nurses scrubs (someone said walmart?) that we could get a taxi (?) over to and stock up before returning to Aussie land:). If anyone knows could they let me know where I can get some and how I would get there? Thanks heaps....can't wait till May!!!!:wizard:

I have no idea but I can offer a suggestion. Go to the first aid station in any park and ask the nurses stationed there. They will know the closest/cheapest/best selection (might be three different places) for you.

Most of the nurses I know buy online. If you are comfortable doing that you could order before your trip and have them shipped to your resort.

Just google nursing scrubs shipping and you should find a large selection. You probably won't even have to pay shipping or sales tax on them.

If you really want to go to a store, Uniform City has a large one in the downtown Orlando area, at 1243 E. Colonial Drive -- that's a pretty far way from WDW; cabbing to it would be quite pricey. It would probably be cheaper if you could hire a car for the day.

My DW gets her scrubs at Uniform City. The place is huge and they carry both Dickies and Cherokee brands which are the two top brands in the U.S. and both brands have the flare-leg pants which are big right now. There are always lots of discounted sets there too. But as mentioned, this is on Colonial Drive (SR 50) a mile or two east of the I-4 interchange and just north of downtown Orlando.

Just as far from Disney but closer to the airport is Scrubs 4 U. This is at 3333 N. Orange Avenue on the east side of the road. They carry both brands too. Smaller than Uniform City but still a very large selection......and better organized, IMO.

A one day car rental would be the way to go, if you dare driving on the wrong side (and at least age 25)!

You both are so cute!

Thankyou so much everyone, and thankyou campingcorgi for taking the time to phone walmart it was lovely of you! Hopefully now we will be able to get some more scrubs whilst we are over there!:cool1: Thanks again everyone for your help!:wizard:

Most of the scrub companies that you would buy from online have stores in Florida ( I don't know why)

Walmart does have a good selection, I have bought quite a few scrub tops and pants from them. They seem to be good quality, and they have a pretty good selection of Disney character tops! Always a plus!
