Good Morning all. Thank goodness its friday!!! DMIL heads home today. It has been great having her here but we are exhausted. Because of her limited mobility, everything we do takes so much more effort. We are ready for a weekend. DH has work to make up for work and I have homework. Argh!

MKM, I love it when the sibblings start cheering for the brother or sister they normally fight with!!! Collegeman let a priceless cheer go for Laxlad Tues. He yelled that he was a sexy beast! OMG! Of course, everyone laughed. And Laxlad got even after the game.

What is also cool is that when the athlete gets a taste of success.....they want more. You may see him play harder from here on. The cheering and game ball are a great motivator!

I think we are on a roll!!! I just checked our bank account to see if DH's check went in and we had extra money in our balance. When I looked into the transactions, our tax stimulus check is there. I didn't expect it until July!! Whoo hooo! What timing with a closing coming up!!

Ok, I'll be the 1st to jump in on this one. If we're talking about another DVC on Disney property I'd have to say I'd love to see one at the Polyensian.

Offsite I'd love to see one in Colorado anywhere near the Rockies. Colorado is a close tie to the World for my favorite places to vacation. I could definitely see Mickey on some skis.

East coast of Mexico (Cancun, Cozumel...) or Bermuda- because they are quick, cheap flights from the East coast but feel a million miles away.

I would have to say either Virginia or maybe coastal Maine. That way I could have a place to spend my summer vacations and still have BWV for winter and/or early spring. If it was in Virginia I could also use it to stay over on my way to WDW. I would buy in either one.

My vote would be somewhere like Grand Cayman, Aruba, St. John...ok, anywhere in the Caribbean. While I'm not the under the sea kinda guy as Tammy, there isn't a place I'd rather be to enjoy the

We're hoping to hear about our ROFR contract today...there were 2 other contracts identical to ours that passed this week...so we're thinking ours will as well. If we don't hear this week, we should hear early next week...but that would make for a painful nail biting weekend!

Regarding the next DVC location question...on-site it would have to be POLY hands down.

Meanwhile, I sent in a deposit yesterday on my second attempt to purchase a listing through GMAC. The sellers of the first property I offered on there never called the agent back; and can you believe the sellers on this second property also seem to be impossible to contact! (Add in the two-week absence of the sellers on my contract waiting to close, and I am beginning to feel a little snakebit. I thought waiting for ROFR was supposed to be the hardest part.)

If the sellers on this second contract can be found, waiting for ROFR will be a little tense. Very doubtful it would pass, even though I am offering well above asking price. (Seemed to be priced to ensure a quick repurchase through ROFR.)

I like the ideas so far. I read somewhere that DVC was supposed to build in Colorado and they scrapped it not long after they opened HHI.

I think the carribean would be a great idea. And put it where the ships could dock so you would have a destination to cruise to and from. Aruba would be really terrific! Love, love Aruba!! It's out of the hurricane belt, temps are pretty constant and people are very nice - typically low crime too. Yep.. Aruba! Bon bini!!

Congrats and best wishes to all the sillies who are willing to do this twice...consecutively! I need recovery time. Still no docs....beginning to wonder if it will be today or not. She said she was working on them yesterday.

Hey Laurie, I saw on another thread that the other identical contract passed & was surprised not to see your name there too. Strange. Well, at least you know there's a very good chance yours will too. Hope you hear something today. I'm right there with you in the waiting impatiently category.

Love the idea of DVC in the Caribbean. DH would be all over that. Maybe St. John.

Argh! We faxed in all our papers on 5/5. GMAC couldn't get in touch with the sellers until 5/12. As of yesterday, it still hadn't been sent to Disney. *sigh*
