We checked in yesterday around 1pm. We did online checkin, our room was ready when we arrived. All our requests were met. We booked a pool view. King bed, room 4430 Zebra Trail, nice location close to elevator, short walk to lobby, Mara, pool and Transportation.

I will post some pictures of the room soon.

We were at Kidani in April with DD3 and DS1. Savannah view room and I requested near the pool (1st as my priority) and low floor as secondary.

Is near pool a choice with online check in? We are wanting a room near the pool, I was going to wait and check in at Kidani, but if we can request near pool I will do the online check in.

We rented points through Davids so it would be easier if we can just do it through the check in process.

Much of what is posted here will be about Jambo House. While many of us love Kidani, Jambo will always be first in our hearts!

Here is a link to Kidani. Nnote - it is one of the first ones I ever found - 2008? - and the link has a misspelling in it (Kindani! )

All rooms at Kidani start with "7" (Jambo floors go up to 6). There are 2 savannas at Kidani: Sunset (which is also shared with Jambo) and Pembe.

Floor 2 is the lobby level at Kidani (floor 3 is lobby level at Jambo).

Yes, so sorry! My brain is mush with all this pricing/swapping/pricing/swapping. It's making me crazy!

I now arrive THURSDAY at 6:30pm. So would have time for a later dinner and maybe a little walk around PM at most, but then have from about 8-12 the next morning at the hotel before I meet my friends. Would you spring for AKL for one night? Or is this too much and I should consider something else. I looked at the Hyatt at the Airport but my gosh, THAT is $170 a night! I am NEVER going to pay $170 to stay in an airport!!! Ha!

Check-in for Kidani is going to only give you a couple of options: high/low floor, Sunset or Pembe, near lobby. I think there may have been one more but I can't remember. To enter the "near the pool" request, just contact David's and have them ask the owner to enter it in the reservation. That's your best bet - they can enter things that aren't on the actual list for online check-in.

I wouldn't.. But I am cheap! Lol.. When DD and I went for one night, we stayed at a value. You would have to be out of the room by 11am ..eh, that is hard. $100 bucks is a lot for sleeping.
Is the other WL in your name? You could hop a bus from your value to WL before your friends arrive Nd enjoy that hotel in the morning
