NSSHP on Halloween

Was anyone else dissapointed with the NSSHP?

We were looking forward to this night for a long time. Everything we read led us to believe there would be many characters available which is one of the major attractions for my sons.

- The decorations were fair, at best
- The parade was great....We did see many characters during the parade, but we like to get pictures and autographs...
- We were able to walk on to many rides which was nice
- Other than the parade we saw 3 characters all night !!!!
- The lines for a piece of candy were extremely long (fortunately, my boys were not interested in the candy)

For the price of admission...I'd never do it again.

We were there the night before (30th) and saw many characters . Some were not in halloween dress but there were still many some of the candy lines had characters in them as well.

We did do some rides but really concentrated on the Party events.

We went on Halloween and actually enjoyed it. The only problem we had was not getting everything done in time. 4 hours went by so quickly (we got there around 7:30, 8:00). And of course our DS4 was exhausted, that he fell asleep after being there about an hour, hour and a half. Daddy had to finish his trick-or-treating for him.

I didn't think the lines were that long at all. Maybe at the end of the night when the CM's were trying to give all the candy away, but that was the only time they were really long.

I think most of the characters were at the parties that were going on. We didn't get any autographs either. But we got most of them when we visited the parks.

We loved the party so much that we went to two of them. Never any lines for candy that we saw, I think it depends on when you go.

We LOVED the party this year. We hit every ride we wanted with no waits at all, including Dumbo. There were NO lines for candy, and we got a huge amount of it. Can't wait for next year to roll around. We'll be back!

We were there on Halloween, and it was just "okay". I just didn't get that same warm fuzzy feeling I get at MVMCP! There was nothing wrong with the party, just not quite what I was expecting. Dh and I really wished we had just stayed at our hotel (BWV) that night. They had tons of activities going on during the day and night. If we go at that time of year again, that's what we'll do.
BTW, we found the candy lines really long too, but they seemed to be moving pretty quick. One ds was more interested in riding stuff, and the other one was too young to know there was candy in those lines. LOL We were able to walk on most attractions with little or no wait.
