now i get a message saying we are expierenceing heavy volume try again later I have been trying since monday to get to the website and getr some prices first they were always down now this! :bitelip:
 
Isn't it frustrating waiting to price it? Guess it's taking a long time to work out the kinks. Hopefully it will be solved soon :)

Keep trying. I have tried several times today and gotten thru sometimes, and other times I get the same message you got. Good luck!
 
This has gone PAST frustrating! I, too, have been trying to get through since Monday, one the phones and internet... not to check prices so much but to actually book a vacation! I even emailed them to book (as their website suggests we do)... NO response. I just sat on hold for 1/2 hour... finally gave up... this is NOT making me a happy camper. :rolleyes:
 

i want to book also i just like to figure out what i want on line before i actually speak to someone and i cant do it ugg!!! :earseek:
 
I am sure Disney wants to talk with each and every one of you. :) I am sure it will calm down soon. Have you tried early in the morning or later at night? Good luck to all of you.
 
Phones are open until 11:00 p.m. eastern.

It is incredibly frustrating not only online, but on the phone as well.

It is taking hours to get reservations quoted now. Hopefully the kinks will be worked out soon.

I talked to them earlier today. I had to wait approx 12 min before I got someone to talk to. Have a little patience and think about how much fun you will have when you get there. Keep trying!!!
 
An interesting idea... I can stay at Universal's Portofino Bay Hotel for a good chunk less than the Deluxes for that period... and would get Universal express... which, I think, means no lines... hmmm. Never have been a Universal person, but I'm getting SO frustrated!
 
I've been playing around with their site today - it seems like the default message says they're experiencing high volume, but if you click on the little link below it (it says In order to proceed, click here), you can continue with their online reservations. I was just able to get to the payment screen. Hope this helps!
 
I haven't had any problems getting quotes on-line this week at all. It may be beacause I have dial up (I know stil in the dark ages!)?!?!? when I go to the disney website I used the html link and I still get the message that says we are busy, but I click on the proceed anyways and it has yet to fail me. I called today around 1:15pm CST and they answered around 1:34pm CST and the CM I spoke with was very nice and said they are having some problems. She thanked me for my patience and I told her at least they have good music to listen too. She said she had not encountered anyone that was upset about having to wait. Keep trying I'm sure you will get through :D
 
I couldn't get through on the internet for two days then last night about 10:00 EST I got right in and the system moved very quickly.. You may want to try later at night
 
keep trying...be persistent...we held forever and finally got through....
 
Anytime a computer system is changed, or changes are made to ultimately make things nicer for users there are kinks from the beginning. Have patience and it will all work itself out. In a couple of months when you are having fun at WDW, no one will even remember there were any problems. :cool1:
 
I got through last night after about a 45 minute hold time. Ended up keeping the same reservation I have in a week, but was worth the try to see if any standard room/AP/CBR had opened up. C'est la vie.. we're going to Disney and that is what counts, eh?
 
eeyore0062 is right. I know that when Memorial Day weekend draws near the last thing I will be worrying about is the Disney reservation system.
 
on January 2, I got on-line at 7:00 a.m. CST and got my reservation started on-line. I didn't dare pick up the phone! I booked on-line got my package w/dining. 15 mins later done!

I wish all of you the best of luck and keep trying! It will be worth it - I can picture myself strolling down Main know with a tear in my eye. I cry everytime I see that castle. I just feel blessed!
 
WDWbetsy is right . Click on the little link it you get right through. Also i called two times last night and waited maybe around 15 minutes ( didn't mind since I used the 800 #) They were able to help me without a problem. They were both very good about it and kept saying sorry about the systems , waiting etc.
