) . As you know my stories well sometimes traveling from Tx. things don't always go as planed. My Duramax is pretty quiet when she is warmed up but I had no extension cord to plug her in so when I cranked her up she rattled just as good as a Powerstroke or Cummins. I decided it needed about the 30 minutes it took me to break down for her to warm up and give my neighbor a little rumble to enjoy the sunrise with.

No, please don't!Well, I beg to bicker...

This is making me second guess my wanting a pop-up or a hybrid. 'Course at the rate we're going, we're going to have great-grandkids before we get any camper at all!![]()

...even though we warned them about the noise (they camp in all kinds of wacky places - near highways, in big fields with lots of other people ...don't ask)
You gotta get something to camp in Liv. You are not missing another TN/AL Fiend GG! Unless you want to sleep in the boat....This is making me second guess my wanting a pop-up or a hybrid. 'Course at the rate we're going, we're going to have great-grandkids before we get any camper at all!![]()

I have read alot on here latley about disboarders getting upset with the increase in rates. I have to say over a $100 a night for the 2000 loop is really insane. I can't understand.
While in a pop up in Dec 2000 with similar weather, we lost the heater. Only one ceramic block heater. Was miserable, I actually went into comfort station to get warm.

They are at $100 a night for the same reason a spot at a campground in Myrtle Beach goes from $44 a night in May to $68 a night in June-August..FOR 4 PEOPLE. People will pay it!! It's in season. I think the FORT is a much better bargain.
