Now the wait!

just bought 210 points at AKV. Now the wait for ROFR I heard it takes 30 days. Has this really been less for anyone?

Not sure of late with the possible rush of last-minute resales before 20 Mar, but my ROFR about this time last year took something like 23 days. My guess is it will take Disney closer to 30 days now. I just drank wine to pass evenings. . .

It seems most of them lately have been going right down to the wire. Sorry - but I think you should prepare yourself to wait the entire 30 days. My ROFR actually took 32!

Disney has been taking the full time -- Submitted 1/5 for ROFR, We were advised by TTS on 2/4. about 31 days. Current consensus is that Disney is looking to act on ROFR on BCV at the moment. Good Luck !

Also, if Disney does ROFR your contract on day 30 rather then day 23, it gives you one less week to find another contract before the March 20 deadline. It is probably in Disney's best interest right now to take there time...

I just passed today. Took 28 days, but keep in mind, my contract went in on 1/14, the Friday before the announcment. Disney hasn't even started to clear the contracts submitted since the news came out.

It seems to be taking 30 days lately.
Our contract was submitted Jan 18th, and we are still waiting to hear back. We should have our answer later next week.

Thanks all! I hope it goes through. I just wouldn't pay 120 a point. It doesn't seem financially worth it for that much.

Our contract went in on 1/21 and we are still waiting. DW is absolutely climbing the walls waiting. Since it is at BWV I told her I think we will be fine.
She wants to book a res ASAP since we will have 210 banked points from 2009 expiring on May 31.

We just went through the whole resale process. It only took us about 2 weeks for the ROFR part of it. We did do it in December. I am assuming with the changes and the March 20 date that they are a little more busy now and may take a little longer. As long as it is submitted by March 20th you will be ok
