I am really excited and just wanted to share...

I was able to do Online Check In for next weeks trip!!
That always makes me feel good because I know that the trip is right around the corner!

Woohoo for doing online check-in! Is it bad that such simple little things give us so much pleasure?

Ashton cracks me up! We need to figure out when we can get the kids together again. Sounds like they both talk about each other often. Maybe we can meet in Gatlinburg sometime since you don't know when Danny will let you plan the next WDW trip.

that sounds like a plan! I had map-quested to see what was half way between the two of us...just don't remember where that was as the moment. Our next trip will probably be around Nov/Dec 2012 (remember I want to see it for Christmas and I don't think next year is in Danny's plans at this time either; we'll see!)

Thanks for all the comments Megan! Josie had a lot of fun on the "big kid" rides. I measured her yesterday (because we had one issue the last WDW visit) and she has grown at least 1/2" since we left in May. She might get to ride the other ride after all this coming trip!

I really love Kidani too! We are staying at SSR in July but I have us on a waitlist for Wilderness Villas. I know I won't get it but it makes me feel better to try. The CM I spoke with told me that I had the best chance there it looked like. I'm just not that excited about SSR. I'm sure it will be just fine, but the other resorts scream Disney to me and SSR just doesn't for some reason. Silly, I know...

YAY for Josie growing the 1/2". Hopefullt she gets to ride this trip.

I understand what you mean about SSR. We stayed there knowing that it wasn't our cup of tea. We like our resort to be under one roof rather than multiple buildings. We had developer points that could only be used at SSr since Kidani wasn't built yet. I doubt we'll stay there again. There's nothing wrong with. It's a very lovely resort. It's just not our taste.

Breakfast at H&V looks like it was fun. We've eaten there before and didn't particularly care for the food either. We did it for the boys.

YAY for getting to TSM so quickly. People really underestimate some of us heading to a specific attraction at RD.

I know we've talked about the situation with Josie at ToT when we talked at the pool, but it still sucks to read about it. If he thought she wasn't tall enough, he should have denied her entry to the ride. If he's going to let her ride, then he should stay quiet about it. I'm glad to hear she enjoyed it though.

It's a good thing that Joe spoke up at LMA. Those sound like great seats!

Dinner at Ohana looks like fun as always. Now I completely understand what you mean when you said that he drank a bit at dinner.

It was so nice to meet you though!

We will be in MI the weekend of Aug. 7. My friend Steph is getting married in Warren at 5:30pm. I plan to get into town on Friday afternoon and stay through Sunday. Not sure where we are staying just yet. We need to get together for sure!

You will love 1900PF. It's a fun place. The fun outweighs the average food. Be sure to interact with the characters. They really play it up!

Apparently everyone got in line for fastpasses first for TSM. Mary's DH said there were some technical difficulties with the machines when they first got there. That line was huge. By the time we exited the ride, it was nonexistant so we stuck our normal passes in and got some for later.

Definitely will need to meet up!! Are you just coming or is the whole family? Flying or driving? I'm really excited by the possibility!!

Our 2011 plans look like a cruise is in my future for spring and then we will be going to Disney for fall break, meet some DISers (and to run the 5k with our friends!). I haven't thought about 2012 just yet. We could meet somewhere inbetween though and I think it would be so fun.

Online check in gets the ball rolling for me as well. I'm excited to get back and have some fun. The Disney depression hasn't been near as bad this year knowing that I get to go back (even for just a few days).

SSR doesn't have a real "Disney" feel to me but it is Disney and we will be fine. I dropped the waitlist today. I decided to just go with it. Did the online check in thing and made my room requests online and by phone. The CM I talked with noted my request in less than 2 seconds so I'm considering calling back to make sure she REALLY noted what I asked for. I didn't get a good feeling from her..not sure why but I just didn't. Most of the Member Service CM's are fantastic but she was just odd. I'm silly I know.

Thanks Queen! Josie is so brave. It amazes me. Yep, the difference in the pineapple's was really funny.

I am mad that I didn't get a pic of me and Mary AGAIN! You'd think I would have learned something from last year.

We had the same feeling about H&V. It was fun once but we won't be back for a while.

We are rope drop folks all the way. Next week the plan is get to rope drop, knock out the big hitters, head back to the resort, swim, chill, get refreshed, go to dinner and hit EMH.

Josie loved ToT and was totally fine with it. We will ride it again in about two weeks.

Glad you see what I talking about on the dinner drinks...he was in rare form that evening.

It was great to meet you as well. It was fun to put a face to the person who helped me get the info I needed to secure my dream of owning DVC. Thanks for that again.

The whole family is coming but they are used to DIS meets so they wouldn't mind to meet up at all. We will be driving and looks like we are staying at the Hampton in Auburn Hills at least the night of the wedding. I really hope we can meet up. I'm excited about the possibility as well!

Love the update . I had a Mai Tai at 'Ohana that day, didn't know I could get the lapu lapu at the time . We have never done VOTLM, I think I may have to do it by myself.

ok, all caught up! The boys kept seeing the pics and kept asking "what is that? who is that?" lol

Great pictures!! I can't believe Josie did TOT! How old is she? Wayne REALLY wants Owen to be 40 inches in February but he is 2 inches shy of it... just not sure if he will get there, but the kid has NO FEAR!!! He cried last time when Wayne and Myles went on all the rides and we had to hang back! It was getting expensive because we would hit the gift shop to cheer him up and I ended up buying way too many things!!

The night with Mary and her family sounds GREAT! I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that it all works out for October 2011, I just know we will have lot's of laughs together!!! And my boys will love your girls for sure!

How funny that you don't like ToT and haven't done Star Tours. I will be sure to tell Josie. She will think it is so neat that she is so brave.
