Now that's clogged arteries waiting to happen

I don't understand why they put perfectly perfect jumk food into a deep fat fryer. It is my personal conviction that they are ruining it.:rotfl:

:rotfl:

God only knows. I always look at those things and think there are faster ways to commit suicide.

No kidding. The last time I had a twinkie was when I was probably 8 years old! And it sure as heck wasn't deep fried! Whenever I see those huge vats of grease, I wonder how old that oil actually is.

Well why do you feel the need to judge them? Are you perfect in every way? Do you not ever do something that somebody else finds gross?

Something? Sure. But do I get worked up about what a stranger is choosing for their lunch? Nope. I have bigger things to worry about.

This post says waaaay more about you then it does the OP, as most overreaction posts do. I wonder if someone ^^^ enjoys food smothered in mayo and ranch :confused3

I was just at subway because I forgot my lunch at home. The ladies in front of me each ordered foot long chicken bacon ranch extra cheese and added MAYO!!!!!! Ewwww. Mayo, ranch, cheese and bacon...hello ER!

No Diet Coke?

I like my fries pretty much doused with ranch dressing.

And a sandwich just doesn't taste right without mayo.

But, together? A bit much.

Although, I will mix mayo/mustard on a turkey sub. Only on a turkey sub.

No Diet Coke?

Funny you mention that. I mix Diet Coke with Dr. Pepper. lol I like the taste of Dr. Pepper but don't want all of the calories so I make a semi-diet Dr. Pepper.

Yes, it may be gross to some and I really don't care. :thumbsup2

If I did, it certainly wouldn't be your business, would it? And no, it's not an overreaction, because I'm also taking into account other comments the OP has made about other people who don't have what she considers a healthy lifestyle. Stop judging people and worry about yourselves.

No Diet Coke?

:lmao:

I order diet coke when I have soda--folks must think I'm some crazy woman.

But I just can't stand drinking liquid sugar and regular soft drinks are way too sweet for me. And yes, even if I'm ordering a big ol' hunk of carrot cake.:lmao:

But I do know that the calories don't cancel out. Perhaps I should wear a sign so that folks who go:

"Holy Calories batman, doesn't she realize....oh wait--she's wearing a sign--never mind."

I also prefer to not waste calories in a beverage and get it from the fuel of food--even if that food is junk food.

250 calories on a soda...250 calories on a candy bar....

hmmmm...decisions.

Hold the phone, Ethel! Where do you see that I am worked up? I saw something that made me go "ewww" and posted about it? I'm not worried about it, nor do I really care what anyone eats. I found it gross, that's all.

Also no where did I say I am perfect. Far from it. I'm sure I eat a lot of things people find gross. For instance, I love fries and blue cheese. Not everyone's cup of tea and I'm sure many find it gross as well.

I agree, you don't sound worked up.:goodvibes Honestly, I'm starting to get terrified of ever posting a thread on the community boards! Something as simple as you observing a nasty looking sandwich has turned into a snark fest.

As far as weird food goes, I like to dip my chips in mustard. I have a friend who eats her vanilla ice cream with cocoa rice krispies on top! Heck, my DH makes spaghetti sauce with asparagus in it.

If the lady consumes that sandwich she just might be a bit bigger.

IT could be worse--she could be judging your avatar and all those empty calories in those positively scrumptious looking cupcakes.

Mmmmmmmmm.....cupcakes....with mayo and extra extra extra pickles.

With the title "Now that's clogged arteries waiting to happen." Sounds super judgy to me!

A wee bit hypocritical, no? You are judging the OP for her post. You are overreacting in a mount vesuvius, crazy way. Just my own judgemental opinion. For the record, I don't like Subway, I'm a blimpie kind of girl myself.

Maybe they should create a special tax when mixing ranch , bacon & mayo! ;)
