Hi everyone,
My husband and I just found out today that we are offically DVC members.
We will be going home for the first time this Dec from 12/19-12/26 at SSR.
We did orginally have a package at Pop Century for that same time frame. We are going to cancel this.
How do we go about getting our Park tickets and dining plan? Can we call MS and add this on? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

You call MS to add the dining plan and then pay for it at check in. As far as tickets, you can get them anywhere. If you want to get the discounted AP tickets, you need to go through the DVC website or MS IIRC. Otherwise if you just need MYW tickets, you might consider signing up for the Mousesavers newsletter to get a link to discounted tickets through Undercover Tourist. That's what we did this year, and they were very quick on delivery. Have a GREAT TRIP! WELCOME HOME!!!!!!:cool1:

Another way to get APs is at any ticket booth by the entrance to a park, or in DTD! You'll need your DVC membership card and a photo ID to get the DVC discount.:thumbsup2

DVC Members get a $100 discount on APs and $125 on PAPs. Just be sure to have your membership card amd photo ID with you when you purchase the AP or activate the voucher (if purchased online).

First of all -- Welcome Home!

Now, about DDP. Forget DDP for now -- what you REALLY need, if you don't already have them, are ADR's. You need to get reservations for your meals in a big darn hurry, or you're not going to have anyplace to eat!

Call Disney Dining (or MS, they'll transfer you) and make Advanced Dining Reservations ASAP!

Much of the availability for dinner at Epcot venues is going to be dedicated to Candelight Processional Packages, and restaurants who are sold out won't even be keeping walk-up lists. So if you can't get a regular reservation, get a CP package. It's still just 1 TS credit.

As others indicated, getting DDP as a DVC owner is the easy part. Getting ADR's is the challenge during that period.

We have all of our ADR's. We booked them in June. Does anyone know if I cancel my MYW package at Pop Century will this cancel out all of my ADR's as well? Please tell me I do not have to rebook all of them!

welcome home. Hope you really enjoy your DVC membership. It sure is a great way to enjoy disney even more than once a year & also so much more affordable. The annual pass is great deal & as members to save the $100.00 is perfect. We have had annual pases for the last few years even before we were DVC members & found that we could get @ least 2 trips within the year:& use our passes for them. Good luck with changing your prior reservations. :cool1: :cheer2: :flower3:

Why not call Disney Dining directly, confirm your existing reservations, and tell them that although you're changing your resort booking method for those dates, you still want to keep those ADRs? :goodvibes

This should work. Have your SSR confirmation number handy-they SHOULD want to change your reservation number on your ADRs. If they don't, I would ask them if they could update it for you (just to be safe).

YOu guys are all great:banana:  Thank you all so much for all of your advice!
Anyone else have experience with any of this? Thank you!!

It should not cancel your ADRs when you cancel your existing ressie. I did the same thing. I checked a few days later and they were still there. I would do as DVC Grammy suggested and call Disney dining and change the confimation number on the ADRs first. It is a tough time to get ADRs so you need to be extra careful
