Now that BTMRR will be open for my April trip...

When I started planning for my April trip, BTMRR was scheduled to be down for refurb - but now the refurb has been pushed off and BTMRR is back on my "to do" list.

Here's the question/situation:

Tuesday 4/12, I will be in MK all day; it is a recommended day per EasyWDW.
My 2 goals:
Get all my prebooked FPs done as early in the day as I can, so I can try for a 4th FP reride on 7DMT.
Ride Pirates and Splash back to back so if I'm going to get wet on both, I get the wet rides done together instead of get wet - dry out - get wet again. (I have not ridden Pirates since the boat change and have followed the "soaked/wet feet" threads with interest.)

My current FPs (made when BTMRR was not an option):
POTC 9:10 -10:10
Splash 10:15 - 11:15
7DMT 11:15 - 12:15

What I'm considering is swapping POTC and Splash times (if I can), then at RD going straight to BTMRR and riding that standby first, then doing Splash FP, then POTC FP, then ending up with 7DMT FP as is. (Basically, head to the back of the park first then work my way forward.)

OR - would it be better (if I can) to move Splash FP to the first slot and book a FP for BTMRR in the 2nd slot. At RD go to POTC first and ride that standby, then head back to ride Splash with FP, followed by BTMRR with FP. (Still ending up with 7DMT in the existing FP slot.) (Basically working my way through Adventureland back to Frontierland.)

Thanks for reading. It's Sunday, so it's time for me to sit around mulling over plans and changes again and thinking out loud. (The joy of WDW planning! :wizard: No, seriously, I mean that.)

Dump the Splash FP+. You won't need it.
Go to BTMRR at rope drop. Ride it 2-3 times, then ride Splash 2-3 times (or intermix multiple rides on both.)
Those rides are basically "walk-on" for the first hour or more of the day.

I understand your pain. I haven't booked FP yet (June trip), but planned my touring days, and therefore FP+, before BTMRR was an option. Now I'm not sure I want to change my FP. At this point, I'm planning a rope drop ride and rides during parades and fireworks (we have 3 MK nights planned and we are breaking up wishes and MSEP into two different nights with neither scheduled our first (arrival) night. I'm hoping that works.
