NOW post and share your digital pics!! Great photos inside:)

according to my bird book juvi. bald eagles are dark brown with spots/speckles through out body/wings with a gray bill and the eyes of the adult at least are yellow( can't tell from the pic the eye of the juvenile) these don't really look like the pic in the book as piscos are much darker than the ones in my book but it might vary somewhat

juvenile red tails have light eyes( can't tell what these are from here)

you might be able to find out here

donaldduck1967 when were you at Lake George? My son and I were there on Tuesday Aug 1, we only stayed a little while though, only long enough for him and I to go through Fort Willam Henery, then we headed north. I took this shot from the top of the fort, it was so hazy out (and hot!!) wasn't sure how it would come out.

That is definitely a bald eagle. I don't know too many birds but that one is too distinct to miss. :)

Amazing shots as well!

We headed to the beach for a couple hours today... got there nice and early and had the beach almost to ourselves for a bit... it was hazy and a little overcast today, so no real color to these pics!
DD and my great nephew had a great time in the surf!

This sailboat was out pretty far, and as I said it was hazy, but I zoomed, zoomed, to see what I could get.... I think I could have a career as paparazzi - :rotfl: another excuse to by myself a DSLR!

These are from last August and I think I took the same pic. I'll have to check. Also your pic came out good.

dannzzz: Those are lovely. Where were those photos taken?

Thank you. Those are at Disneyland in New Orleans Square. It was morning and everyone was still running to the biggies so there weren't many people wandering around yet. :)

Full Moon on the way in to work this morning:
