Okay - I have a Nykon D800...but totally don't know how to use it. :rotfl: I've had it since August and I think I'm getting better...sometimes. Here's a few...

That's a neat picture. I think you could make it even better by straightening the horizon line.

Thanks. How would I go about doing that? The editing program I usually use is Microsoft's Picture It!, but I just got Photoshop CS and haven't had the chance to really play with it. So I'm only now learning all the different ways to edit photos other than cropping and color adjustment.

I love this pic of my son, but the man in the background really bugs me. Is anyone willing to try and photoshop it for me? I can email you the full size image

Google has a free download called Picasa. It's very user friendly...I took the liberty of straightening the photo. (It's one of the best I've seen on any of the photo boards!)

For some reason, the Photobucket link isn't there. Would you mind reposting it or PM me with it? Thanks so much for doing that for me. I'll check out Picasa, too. Is that the best you've seen on the boards, or my photo? If the latter, thank you! Although there are quite a few that IMHO are much better.

Sk8belle,

Here's the picture again. Sorry, I don't know how to post just the link. I had deleted it from photobucket after posting it the first time because I didn't want to take credit for your wonderful photo. And yes, I meant that your photo is the best I've seen!

Let me know when you've captured the picture from photobucket and I'll delete it again.

I've got it now. Again, thank you - both for fixing the horizon line (the waves made it hard to keep steady) and for the compliment!

Have a great weekend.

I'm sorry, I just had to post one more thing. I did this with Picassa. I thought it was a 'fun' pic!
