I sent my daily emails. These are my final words on the subject:

If you get the chance to log onto a VMK account today join us for our Good Bye dance on Main Street. It is truly a sad day in Disney history. You did not value us enough to get to know this community that you created - if you had you would recognize that VMK is another park, another way to feel the magic, a place for generations to connect and have fun.

Seth "Yavn" Mendelsohn has done a great job with VMK! I thank him for all his efforts to keep VMK going for three years.

As a fan of Walt Disney, his family and his creations I am sad to see corporate Disney's greed. I will view The Disney Company as less magical from now on.

Boycott, I could not. I cannot cut my family off from the magic we feel in the parks and while watching the movies but I want you to know I am disappointed in your decision to close the gates to this virtual park. As a parent and player I can tell you that VMK could have been much more then a promotion. Please keep the idea of recreating a new VMK alive !

I, like so many others, are asking you to please reconsider your decision to close Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK). You will not see a letter from me. Instead my “letter” consists of my blog, www.vmkblog.com, which I have been actively posting to regarding virtually each and every aspect of VMK’s closure. Among the hundreds of posts, you might be interested in some of the headlines you have been creating (listed at the end of this message).

You have billed VMK as a “promotion” when in fact you knew from the very beginning that you were building a community. You never told the kids/families that VMK would not be around for the long haul. Now you have tens of thousands doubting Disney, and the magic that it so often embodies.

In closing, I thought you would be interested in the following video that was sent to the Los Angeles Times. They are interested in covering the story as many other media sources have over the past several weeks:

Please let their voices be heard, the media exposure and positive feedback from the VMK discussion-forum community has helped them feel like they have a voice and an impact. However, they feel their actions have fallen on deaf ears as it concerns Disney and its executives. Their efforts do not end poverty or end wars, but it is a youthful display of activism and it deserves to be recognized, encouraged and supported.

Will be sending emails after I get home. I do plan to cut out of work a little early so I can spend more time on VMK.

I will be mentioning in my email just how much money I have spent in the last few days on Gaia. And letting them know that I just started playing it on friday. They will also be told that I have tried their other games and do not like any of them and will never play any other Disney Online game ever.

Even if Sulake pulls the plug maybe Disney will bring back our virtual park in some way in the future. Keep dreaming of the return of this magical place and keep believing that it only takes one person to make a difference

okay, come on people, be strong, vmk is closed and there's nothing we can do about it. I mean, i miss vmk as much as the next person, but there may still be hope. If u check the vmk hope page now then this is what you'll see:
VMK launched as a part of the Disneyland 50th Celebration and is now closed. Disney.com continues to create experiences to amaze our guests and we hope that all of our VMK friends will continue to join us.

Thank you to the community that made VMK so special. Wait until you see what we're imagining next...

What do u think the last sentence means?? "Wait until you see what we're imagining nest..." thats so obvious that there making something new, luckily, until then if you want you can play virtual family kingdom! I mean i don't know if i'm going to play it because i did that test thing, and frankly, it was kinda boring, and the people are kind of ugly
But hey, thats my opinion. You may think the people are beautiful, and they game is pure fun. Don't let yourself down, like Walt Disney said himself: Think it, and make it! Well vmk did just that, and it went on for 3 1/2 years! Walt disney also said: Have a Mind full of perserverence, Never give up! And walt disney is right! VMK has gaven up, after 3 and a half years of pure fun. Walt disney didn't give up, i mean, look at disney now, ITS HUGE! Now, disney makes millions of money a day, But walt disney didn't care about the money, he wanted something for people to remember him from, thats why Walt disney is MY hero! Isn't he everones? Without him, Vmk wouldn't even excist. And i don't think people realize how important he is. Sure, u must hate the people who closed vmk, but u shouldn't because at least they gave u the wonderful memories. So i think everyone owes Walt disney and the vmk company a thanks.
