I will be sending mine after I get home. They should receive messages from me before 5pm their time tonight.

If you notice in the Wall Street Journal artical John Spelich, a spokesman for Disney's Internet Group was quoted. This is the first time I have heard his name linked to VMK closing. Does anyone have his email address? I wonder if it is John.Spelich@disney.com? I'll add it to my group list and let you know if it goes through.

Also, Brandy.Phillips@disney.com spoke for Disney Internet Group in the on-air bit that a local Orlando channel broadcast weeks ago. Maybe we should add her to our email list.

I'm sending my emails now, gl all ! I am so proud to see this last rallie forming. I feel lucky to be in company of people who want to save our community who want to save this magical place. Keep up the good work and keep believing that one person can make a difference.

Just sent my emails.

Don't forget to email the reporter for the Wall Street Journal also.

As I was adding addresses to my Disney officers group email I did a search on Bruce Gordon. It appears that Imagineer Bruce Gordon died last year - you might want to take him off the list above.

Yes, that is his email. They used that same quote in another article in another paper a couple weeks ago and I wrote a ranting post about how awful his response was.

I just sent this email to 26 Disney Corporate Officers:

Feel free to copy any of my words:

Subject: Keep the gates of VMK open !

I believe in the Magic! I also believe that shutting down VMK would make Disney Company less magical. Walt did not let money be his only guide. He went bankrupt twice before the age of thirty, but he did not close the gates. We ARE the people you refer to in your annual report statement “Commitment to social responsibility and particularly to the families and children who are our biggest fans.” Disney fans all over the world come to VMK to experience magic, to walk down Main Street just by clicking their mouse, to play family friendly games and be in a place where we can dream big. Talk about linking people to the brand! Disney movies often show that one person can make a difference and that people can do anything if they believe and work hard. Please help us make a difference and show our children that they can keep VMK open because they have been signing petitions, sending letters and working together to find a way to get their feelings expressed. Together, I believe we can keep the Magic going!
