Now I'm ready for my trip, my hidden mickeys are done!

Well..I am now ready for our trip to Disney. I finished making our hidden mickeys to countdown for our upcoming trip.

I used to make the mickey heads out of black construction paper each with a descending #, and use them from year to year... but when I just took them out we were missing a couple of numbers..
So..I grabbed a couple from Home Depot and cut around them and put sticker numbers on each of them..

Every day I hide a Mickey with the correct number to be found... Sometimes they are in the microwave, in the shower, inside the toilet lid, on the rearview mirror, etc...

Did I mention I do this for my 42yr husband

What a fun idea! I may borrow this one or adapt it slightly.

What we do is use the kids' old alphabet block cubes. They are arranged on a windowsill to spell out "XXX (whatever the number is) days until Disney." (Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, they spell out "XXX days until Christmas.") Each day, someone in the family gets to adjust the countdown number. Maybe I could tape HD Mickey heads to the back of the D-I-S-N-E-Y blocks or something...hmmmm.
