I was just on a non-disney message board that I like to read and someone was saying they are going to DL for the first time over Xmas.
Someone came on and said....
"That is a good time to go, as it isn't too busy. Everyone goes in the summer and on spring break. People are too busy with Xmas to bother with theme parks. Also, you can purchase these things called fast passes. If you use a credit card to pay for your disneyland tickets, you can use the fast pass machines. It adds $2 onto your credit card every time you use it. It is really worth it, because then you don't have to stand in line. I noticed the charges never did go through onto my credit card, so we got lucky that the machines didn't seem to be working that day for some reason. I figured the extra $20 or so would have been worth not standing in lines. It gives you a time you can come back and return. Maybe you will be lucky and it won't be charged to your card too!".
Ok....I had to close the window - I couldn't even reply to that one. This woman on this board is one of those know it alls that wouldn't believe me anyway....>But had to post it over here so everyone can have a laugh. (Also, for legal purposes of copying from one board to another I did not copy/paste it, I just retyped it and changed it a bit, but its basically the same).
