I just called to book Garden Grill and the CM checked with her supervisor. They said it could be a few days before the reservations are available for booking.
I had some luck. Had to cancel my 4:00 PM dinner because Teppan Edo gave me 4:10 for 8:15 show for 12/21. But after I canceled, signed out and back in (should have just refreshed) got a table. Went all the way through and it wouldn't reserve. Showed me a number, I called. (I also opened a second tab so I could be on my resort reservation).
Was not on hold at all. Super nice CM--everything was "fantastic". She tried to get me a later seating but I think it's the restaurant. But it's daughter b-day and that's her request (all of WDW and she chooses that). Got a 4:00 PM dinner and the 8:15 show. It's on my MDE before I got off the phone.
Raining in Chicago (shocking) so no swim practice and back to bed.

Finally called. Got my Nine Dragons with Whoopi for the middle show. CSR was great! But the reservation isn't showing up in MDE, yet, nor have I gotten an email. I do have my confirmation number, but I'd like to see it in MDE.
I wasn't having much luck trying to reserve online. It would show a time as available but when I clicked on the time it would bring me back to the first reservation screen. I called and the CM was very helpful and I was able to get something reserved. Finally! Thankful for this thread.
I just picked a 2:15 lunch reservation (after numerous attempts of it not letting me advance to the next page once I selected my time) and it says it's for the 8:15 show? I don't want to go that late.... Anyone figured out the trick of choosing which show?
Well, I can't phone right now and the website still doesn't work for me. I would click on an available time and it would circle back to the reservation page. Now my desired restaurant appears to be sold out.
I just wanted to give you guys another huge THANK YOU for the tip about booking opening up today. When I asked the Dining reservations people, they just kept saying to check the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement, which I still haven't seen (but maybe it was there and I missed it). At any rate, I'm really grateful that I saw the posts here so that I was able to book. I am so excited that we got Via Napoli on 12/1 with NPH. Hooray!!!!
Keep checking online - I booked by phone this morning at 7 and they said the 8:15 show wasn't available for my restaurant - so I took a 6:45 show. I just checked online and was finally able to book for the 8:15 I wanted! Woohoo!

got my VN for Dec 21- had to take a 310 ADR and really wanted a 400- didnt want to do last show because want to see holiday illuminations- had to call in- kept getting stuck in the"loop"- of course my narrator is TBD but, at least there is only one for the length of my trip so, I dont have to t second guess my date
That's what kept happening to me, every single time I would click on a reservation time it would kick me out. I had 3:45, then kicked out, 3:30, then kicked out, then 1:40, kicked again. Finally Coral Reef had nothing left. I can't believe I literally sat there and watched each table go right before my eyes. I feel like crying.
Sometimes when you start to book a ressie and get kicked out halfway through, the ADR disappears into cyberspace for a while. Check back in an hour and I bet you'll see some of those times pop up again.
