I've just secured a booking for 2pm on the 12th of December for Nine Dragons

Going off the info on the page linked on page 1 of this thread, a lunch booking between 1.45pm and 2.45pm will get me tickets to the 5pm show

Am I missing something as I didn't think reservations had opened yet?
If it doesn't say candlelight in the reservation or the time of the show you are attending then it's just a regular ADR.

I agree. With all the speculation about the 7th, I was expecting a blog post today with the announcement and celebrities. It would be odd for them to open up bookings without an announcement, but Disney has certainly done stranger things. I'll try at 6 tomorrow but certainly won't obsess over it if nothing shows up.
That is what my plans are, too. I figured that there would have been an announcement today, so if nothing works tomorrow, I won't be upset (or surprised). I'd still like a list of narrators. Do you have to prepay the bill? Or just snag the ressie?

It is not prepay, just requires a CC guarantee.

Be sure to look at your confirmation....if it doesn't specifically say Candlelight Processional on it....what you have is a DINNER reservation, not a reservation that includes a voucher for the show. NOT the same thing.

I am going to be very surprised if they just casually open ressies with no formal announcement on the DPB first?

But either way, will be trying online at 6 am tomorrow!

They are doing exactly that more and more.....things open, DISers find out and we're all frantically booking.....and Disney doesn't announce it for another day or two. Or in the case of the Star Wars special breakfast and dinner it was over a week before the public knew about it, lol.

I think Disney is enjoying seeing social media do all the marketing for it.

No it wouldn't be strange at all. There were all sorts of reservations opened for Star Wars Weekends that weren't announced on the blog until a few days later. Almost like they want to get us fanatics out of the way before clogging up the site/phone lines with everyone else in addition.

Jinx! Great minds think alike?!

So excited to finally get this booked tomorrow! I'll update the first post once booking is official! :teeth:

Do they ever open up booking after 11PM or is it always in the AM? It seem like they do something at 11PM because I can never make ADR's at that time.

That was such a mess I'd be surprised if they did that again....but who knows?!

What are the chances of getting a seat for the processional without the special dining package?

I think it more or less depends on who the celebrity reader is. If it's a more popular one like NPH or Woopie, chances of getting a seat are not good.

Either way, if you do not have a CP package, get there EARLY!

Yup starts today...Reservations for Candlelight Dining Packages can be made beginning on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Advance reservations are highly recommended, and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.

Thank you Tonberry! I will try and book a package and if all else fails get there very early.
