Yeah, I honestly don’t see how there would be a problem with the battery.
It is not but many guests don't have a clue how technology works or even that a MB does not store ticket data or any other data for that matter. They just think MDE that must use all my battery while at the park. It took a couple of years before the majority of guests were freely using MBs.
“The pass works without waking up the device or using FaceID or TouchID, and can also work when out of usable battery life.”
The ability to still use your MagicMobile Pass when your iPhone is out of usable power is only limited to newer iPhones.

You can use Express Transit cards with power reserve with iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, or later. Power reserve is available for up to five hours when your iPhone needs to be charged.

I agree. It’s also so new that people are just making assumptions without knowing how it will actually work. I’m sure once it starts rolling out, those responses will be more favorable.

Do we know what MagicMobile will do besides hold your park pass? I hope that you will be able to use it for mobile order so that you can charge to the room instead of the credit card on file.

Quoting from Disney Parks Blog... hope that helps.

I can see the option on MDE on my Galaxy S10+ (soon to be upgraded) but it doesn't do anything when I click on it. Did it work on anyone else's Android phone? I also am curious if it works on Samsung Pay instead of just Google Pay since that's easier to open on my watch.

Samsung S9+ here. I also had the non-responsive key in the app until I closed and reopened it. The link opened in my browser and I was able to finish linking. But Google Pay was the only option for paying and that's not my default payment method.

I had to turn on NFC in Google pay. Then it worked. I never even had Google pay set up. I do now.

Thanks everyone. Once I closed and restarted the app it worked for Google Pay. Now I'm waiting for the option to access the card in Samsung Pay so I can access it on my watch.
