I have completed 10 months of my 12 month goal and am excited for November. This month we are headed to Disney, so my goal is 8 for the days I am in town.
November 1-$0
Anyone who knows me knows I have to start the month with one or I don't do well for some reason. So, I made do with groceries today and made it a November 1st No Spend Day!
November 2- Today was a BIG spending day, but comes with some explination.
$5 for DD11's School Lock In Friday Night
$5 For DD8's Family Night at School Friday Night
$86 Dance Tuition (I don't count this towards a $0 day as it is a bill to me, but since I pay it and DH doens't I like to record it)
$21.55 Gas, I like to top it off whenever I am at Sam's so I never run low, it is so much cheaper there.
$17.94 Bread Outlet (Love it there, I got 2 loaves of breakfast breads, 18 bagels, a thing of engish muffins, a jar of jam and 20 packs of mini muffins.)
$39.68 Walmart, Toy Story 3 Blue Ray/DVD set and a few groceries.
$47.77 Wegman's-Groceries
$43.96 Target-3 new DS games for the car ride to Disney and a few bags of little packs of Animal Crackers, a buck a bag in the Halloween Candy, good for in the car.
$19.42 Walgreen's- $5 DD owes me back, she bought a Minnie Witch on the clearance rack that movies and plays "I Want Candy" and I did a very unplanned but beloved purchase, they had a Mickey Snowman that lights up and changes colors for $13. I collect Mickey and I collect snowmen so I bought this. I'd have blown a $0 day for this guy, he's so cute and I am looking at him now and he is making me
so it was worth it!

BUT, here is the explination. I bought almost $200 in Gift Cards, $110 for Disney and $85 for Outback (where DH and I always go for dates, it's our favorite!) AND, they only sometimes have the different flavor of water that we drink. We were never until about 6 months ago bottled water people, but DH started drinking the flavored water insted of soda, not a savings but better for him. Well the kids started drinking it and I like that they will cause none of them were ever water drinkers so I caved and have been buying a case a week since. Well they have 2 packs of flavors and they like both but one more then the other and Sam's only has it about once every other month so when I went yesterday and saw they had it, I bought 5 cases. So that is $50 in water and $10 in deposit on the bottles. Add to that that I need to get my freezer stocked with dinners before we go on vacation so I bought a lot of meat and Ziplocks and yo uget a very high Sam's bill!
Today will be a $0 day. I am staying in and cooking all day. We get back from Disney and the week is packed with me volunteering at the Santa's Secret Shop all week, and getting the house decorated and just getting back into the routine so I like to have lots of dinners made and ready to just pop in the oven when we are gone. In fact I am going to go ahead and call today...

November 5-Well it was a No Spend day, till hubby came home "craving" pizza. I was making pasta, not too far off but he's had a long hard week, went in today at 4am and only came hom cause we have 2 kids needing to be 2 places at the same time, othrwise he'd still be there...so if pizza makes him happy I guess pizza it is. $22 for pizza, we bought a sheet so we'd have leftovers when we are in cleaning and packing mode tomorrow and need a quick lunch.
November 6- Well, we went to Target. We got moleskin and gel inserts and the lotion and we found a DS game for $7 and DH got an Old Spice kit for our trip and I got 4 pairs of strechy gloves so we got all total $49. Then we got a few groceries (staples, bread, milk etc) and that was about $10.
November 7- Dinner out with hubby and friends, $35 Chinese for the kids $14 so it was truly a night off for me.
November 8-$0 I too am going to the movies tonight, but also will be brining in a snack. Tickets were bought a while ago by Dh as a gift. We were supposed to have a nice date tonight but he has work to do and DD8 loves Bon Jovi so she and I are going to see Bon Jovi in an hour.
November 9-$0 Was so stressed today, the electric company did their inspection (and then messed up and left us with no power to the kitchen so had to come back and fix that.) After finally getting rid of all our Girl Scout cookies there was a recall of one flavor and sure enough, our codes match, so I had to spend all afternoon dealing with that. Parents observation at dance was today and looooong. DH's at work, kids are acting up...I wanted so bady to get them a pizza and crawl into bed, but I made them dinner...and now want to crawl into bed. 
But I didn't spend!
November 10- Took my van in this morning. Monday morning it hesitated when I started it, rest of the day fine. Did it again yesterday. Because we are driving ot to Disney next week I took it in. It was the battery. So I got a new battery and went ahead and did the state inspection so I don't have to go back the day we get back from Disney. Fully story, I will tell that in a minute. Total for that was $130, wouldn't cound that towards a $0 day as I don't count necessities, but like to record it anyway. Spent $80 deposit on DD8 and DD11's dance recital costumes. Also don't count this. We have comitted this as a regualr bill, but again since I pay that and DH pays the other bills, I record it. DH took DD16 to get her drivers permit today and that was $80! Not sure I'd consider that spending either, but ist doesn't matter cause I took the kids to family night (we haven't been for a couple weeks and will miss the next couple for Disney) so we went and had dinner. With coupons we all at and they had ice cream for $8.
Funny story. I paid y bill for my van and went to the car and called my DH to tell him how much it was. I look down on the bill and see it says -22.80 SENIOR DISCOUNT!!! 
My first thought was I AM 35!!! My Second thought was HEY, 23 bucks!!! I THINK what happened is since I am a regular customer there and just put $800+ into the van just last month he was being nice and gave me a discount but the words...oh you jsut have to laugh!
November 11- Kids had off today. DD8 and I spent the middle of the day selling Girl Scout cookies at a cookie booth. We did OK, sold 5 cases, no complaints. After I took DD11 and DD8 to paint pottery and to get a bite to eat, with coupns we spent about $16. Also went to Walgreen's and got DH a couple hats and me the Mickey Snowman cookies cutter for a total of $7. Still putting off groceries but tomorrow that will run out, and I am getting my hair done (which I rarely do) for our trip.
November 12- Got my hair done, I do it twice a year. Was going to skip it this time but DH begged me to do it, he says I feel better when it's done and he is right, so $92 for that with tip. Then I went and bought a new videocamera for the trip. Last time we used the camera video thing and it didn't work too well, so that was $130. And $30 for a few groceries, mostly to make DH's friend's cheesecake for today.
November 13-$0 The good news I was good about the budget, the bad news is I didn't get nearly as much packing and cleaning I needed to get done but tomorrow is another day!
November 14-Today was the exact opposite as yesterday, blew the budget (not too bad) but got soooo much done! I worked my tail off but by dinner I was tired and starving and there was nothing in the house (we have been working on eating everything up so we don't leave anything and we have done it early! I cleaned the fridge out really good today and unless yo uwant ketchup or salad dressing yo uare out of luck! ) So, it was go grocery shopping or order pizza...pizza won, $15.
November 15- $4 BK for the girls for lunch (had planned to go home for lunch but the appointments ran long and we had 25 minutes to get from one to another, feed 2 kids and get one back to school so we kind of had to) $5 gas in my car, didn't have it in me to fill it.

But I am better, and that is good!!! I had to run kids to nonstop appointments today so I spent a little, I will post that later. I wanted to do all my shopping today but just didn't have it in me yet, have to tomorrow though cause we lave Wednesday.
