How are the crowds the 2nd week of November???

We were thinking of doing the Food and Wine festival and have never been in November.

We usually go about this time every year and they do not seem to be to bad. Matter of fact we are going the 5-14 this Nov.

My sister and I went to WDW two years ago in early Nov. The second weekend is a little busy because of the Festival of the Maters at PI and the Soap Opera weekend at MGM in addition to the Food and Wine Festival. The crowds are bearable especially if you plan well and avoid MGM until Mon when the soap weekend is over. We did the food vendors around WS at 11:00 on Sun when they opened for lunch and practically had the place to ourselves for well over an hour. We tend to get up early and see what we want in the parks and then head back to the hotel for an afternoon break.

Our plan worked so well that my husband and I are returning again this year for the festival. I love Florida in the fall and think it's the best time to visit. Try it. I bet you like too.

Not too bad. When I was growing up, and still traveling with my parents, this was the time we always went. It was always nice weather and moderate crowds. Nothing at all like the summer.

:) Have fun!!

My DGDs birthday is November 10. We're suprising her with a trip when she turns 12 in 2005. It's also Jersey Week, so the timing is perfect as she'll be out of school 4 days in a row anyway, and will only have to miss a couple days. We've never been in Nov. before, but hoping it's a great time to visit.
