November week after Thanksgiving good time?

I'd love to hear your experience with the week after Thanksgiving. Anybody going this year? We are going in May for a mom/daughter/granddaughter trip and my dad wants to go later in the year. We usually go in September/October for the Halloween time. This would be our first Christmas decoration experience. I'm super excited! We are looking at 11/30-12/4. Thanks for any input!

We went 3rd week of Dec but I just wanted to say- it's amazing! We did our first xmas trip last year and can't wait to go again someday. You're making a great call subbing in for Christmas decorations this year!

We have never been at Christmas time, but are going 11/28 - 12/3 this year. I have heard crowds are pretty manageable the week after Thanksgiving compared to the rest of the holiday season. Fingers crossed!
