I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I was wondering how the weather usually is in November. I've been in December, which was still warm during the day. I was hoping to hit the summer clearance sales for clothes, but I'm a little unsure about how to dress. I went in February, only took one pair of pants, and froze. I want to be prepared this time. Thanks!

We were in WDW last November 11-17. The day we arrived it was 85 degrees and sunny and hot. Stayed that way for 3 days. By the time we left, it was a high of 58 (storm came through) and the rest of that week, I hear, was very cold, not getting above 60. Nothing can be counted on concerning weather. We went in 2012 after Thanksgiving and it never got above 72, but also never got too chilly. It was really nice, but not warm enough to swim. In general, assuming it's not one extreme or another, you will want to pack layers: days will be pleasant and warm (but not hot) and by evening you will need a sweatshirt or hoodie and probably longer pants.

We were there last Nov 1-10. I think I packed one pair of pants and sweatshirt. We used that one outfit a lot. Wish I had of packed more. A few days shorts were fine, then a few pretty chilly then a few back to hot. It was really a roulette.

Those cold days were cold enough to close Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon sorry idk which we went by multiple times at All Star Sports but I assume they were both closed.

Sadly I think you should pack a variety.

We have been the last few years for Thanksgiving. We bring a little bit of everything. I have worn shorts one day and a fleece jacket the next. My kids usually swim since the pools are heated, (one night my daughter was in the pool and I was standing by watching her in sweatpants, sweatshirt and fleece jacket. We are from NH and are use to the cold, but we have had some really cold days at Disney, 50 there just feels colder than at home. Layers are the way I usually go, maybe capris, tank and cardigan. It also depends on what you think is cold. We have been in December once when it was so cold, like 30 degrees cold. Since then I always bring a little bit of everything, including thin gloves and hats which we have used in November.

I'm going 11/12 - 11/20 and I'm agonizing over packing because I only ever pack a carry on and my back pack as my personal item. Knowing there can be a 30° or more swing in temperature during the trip is tricky. I'll be coming from PA, so it'll probably be pretty cold by then here. If it stays above 70° I'll be thrilled. I'm nervous because the first time I went down as a kid was in November, it was a freaky cold snap and was freezing. Winter coat freezing.

That happened to us one time in mid November, it was not in the forecast. We had mostly shorts and short sleeves, had to buy sweatshirts.

We are also coming from PA and will be in Disney from Nov. 25-28. I guess I will pack layers and pay close attention to 7 day forecast.

Thanks, everyone. I'll pack a variety for layering. I enjoy cooler weather, just want to be prepared for it!

The one reason I go in Nov is because of the great weather- I know it is unpredictable, but we have been spoiled with beautiful, perfect weather during all of our Nov trips. Last year we were there Nov 12-18th and it only rained one day on our last full day, the 17th... it started in the afternoon and went through the evening but stopped. The mornings can have a slight chill, but it almost always heats up a bit to high 70's- low 80's and no humidity... and then the evenings are so nice, in the 60's or high 50's. We pack something for everything just in case. But I remember being the parks last year and almost never needed a jacket or long sleeves except for one time it got a little windy. I know that after left on the 18th, it got abnormally cold! That is how unpredictable it can be. Overall it is comfortable and nice with very little to no humidity which is a huge bonus when in the parks during the day!
